As many of you will know, this week is Mental Health Awareness Week. When I started Pulls & Positivity, the "Kindness First" ethos wasn't just a catchy slogan for opening Pokémon cards—it was meant to be a daily reminder of how we should treat each other, and just as importantly, how we should treat ourselves in the real world.
I have always tried to be open about the fact that I have struggled with my mental health over the years. To be completely transparent with you all, I am really struggling again right now. It feels like there are so many things fighting against me in life at the moment, and my energy is completely running on empty.
Because of that, I need to practice what I preach and put my well-being first. There will be no Saturday video today. I wanted to share this because it is so important to normalize taking a step back. If you are reading this and you are also feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or like things are just too heavy right now, please know that you are not alone. It is more than okay to hit pause, drop some plates, and ask for help.
I am taking this weekend to rest, reset, and look after myself. Next week, the batteries will be recharged and we will be right back to normal, ready to dive straight into the Chaos Rising release together! 🦅🔥
