The Best of Great Britain and Beyond! Join our Adventure!
We are Simon & Will, and we're addicted to travel and flying. We want to share our passion for great places to visit, along with things to do, and ways to make your travel easier. We aim to excite and encourage you to get out and see the UK and the world whilst covering a bit of the history along the way.
Our videos are more about the place, how to get around and what to experience than us doing a traditional vlog where we are in front of the camera all the time blocking the views!
We hope from our videos you are encouraged to plan and book a trip and get out and see the wonderful world!
We also run a website, www.memoryseekers.net, with many informative blogs and guides to support our videos.
Support us by liking and subscribing or chat with us, we love to hear from fellow travellers.
Happy Travels wherever you go!

It's time to move on!
Our last video from the Orkney Islands tonight.
If you are looking for a beautiful coastal escape, a walk around Stromness is exactly what you need. This historic stone town is packed with maritime character, and taking time to see Stromness on foot reveals its secrets. When you wander the streets, you are walking right through centuries of seafaring heritage.
This charming port grew substantially during the 17th and 18th centuries due to the wars with France, which forced ships to bypass the English Channel and head north around Scotland. It became a famous final stop for European vessels heading west. The Hudson's Bay Company regularly recruited local Orcadian workers here, and legendary ships—including Captain Cook’s Discovery and Resolution—docked in these very waters.
The magic of this place lies in its layout. The single main street winds and twists alongside the shoreline, flanked by narrow stone lanes and houses built gable-end to the sea. Wander down the tiny side alleys to discover hidden slipways where fishing boats once unloaded their catch directly into the cellars.
Join us as we explore a town we felt was more charming than Kirkwall and reminded us a lot of Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire.
See you at 7pm BST 17th July, that's tonight!

Get ready, everyone! We have an absolute blockbuster dropping this Friday at 7pm BST!
We are taking you on an epic, fast-paced road trip across Orkney to see just how many world-class sights you can pack into a single day. If you’ve ever wanted to explore the rugged beauty of Orkney, then use our blueprint. From ancient history to dramatic coastlines, we cover it all—and we even include public transport alternatives so you can replicate the exact same route without a car.
On this whirlwind drive, we visit the beautiful Italian Chapel, made from scrap metal, wander the breathtaking Neolithic village of Skara Brae and nearby Skaill House, and tackle a coastal hike along the Yesnaby Cliffs. It's time to explore the Island of Sanday. The locals say, "There is nothing to do here, all day long", and to be fair, it is a much slower pace of life. Yet the Island is full of fascinating heritage, incredible beaches, and places to get lost in, with no one around. A refreshing, scenic retreat. If you like peace and quiet, a chance to be almost alone, and to reconnect with nature, this could be your perfect place.
We've been overwhelmed by your comments on our Boloquoy video. Thank you all for the lovely praise and support. We really did have the best time.
Join us at 7pm BST to see more of the Island and what we got up to when not immersed in the Victorian Farm.

🚨 TONIGHT AT 7PM BST: A Journey Unlike Anything We’ve Ever Done Before...
Hey MemorySeekers!
Grab your tea and settle in, because tonight’s video is going to look a little different. We are taking you deep into the heart of remote Sanday to experience the incredible Boloquoy Victorian Farm—but this isn't just a standard tour.
For the first time ever, we didn't just film the history; we lived it.
We completely stepped back in time to experience true 19th-century island life, living in a Victorian farmstead time capsule. It’s raw, it’s authentic, and it pushed us completely out of our comfort zones. You’re going to see a side of us you’ve never seen before!
From the challenges of the daily routine to the incredible atmosphere of this untouched piece of Orkney heritage, we can’t wait to share this unforgettable journey with you.
The premiere drops tonight at 7:00 PM BST.
See you in the past in just a bit!

Hey everyone! Our first episode for our new Scottish Series goes live tonight!
We start by taking you to the rugged and beautiful Orkney Islands.
Our first stop? The ancient town of Kirkwall. Walking down its narrow, stone-paved streets, you can still feel the Norse heritage. The highlight has to be St. Magnus Cathedral. Built from striking red and yellow sandstone back in the 12th century, it was founded by a Viking Earl and stands as one of the most magnificent medieval buildings in all of Scotland. The atmosphere inside is absolutely incredible.
Of course, we couldn't explore Orkney without checking out its famous liquid history. We headed over to Highland Park Distillery, where they've been making scotch since 1798. Fun fact: it actually started as an illegal smuggling operation by a smooth-talking church officer who hid whisky casks right under his pulpit! Today, they still do things the traditional way—manually turning their malting barley on stone floors and using local heather-rich peat to achieve that iconic smoky flavour.
We’re taking you inside the cathedral walls, through the smoky kilns, and right into the whisky warehouses, finishing with a tasting. That's just a few things coming in this first episode.
Join us at 7pm BST on 19th June, and please do hype the video if you like it! It really does help.
Have a lovely weekend, Simon & Will

The final video from our Austrian adventures goes live TONIGHT at 7:00 PM BST! 🎥
We are wrapping up this trip at one of the most beautiful places: Hallstatt, the fairytale village.
Hidden away between massive mountain peaks and a clear, mirror-like lake, this gorgeous Alpine spot looks like a storybook illustration. 🏔️💧
Inside tonight’s episode:
Ancient History: This lakeside spot carries immense historical significance. It has the oldest salt mine on Earth, which dates back thousands of years. The early salt trade here was so massive that an entire European Iron Age era—the Hallstatt culture—took its name from this exact location.
Cliffside Houses: We wander the quiet, narrow streets where beautiful timber-framed homes cling to the rocky cliffs.
The Best Viewpoints: From the famous postcard picture spot to hidden side alleys, every single turn gives you a gorgeous view.
The Mine Train: We ride a funicular railway up the mountain to Salzwelten, where we speed down massive wooden miners' slides and learn how "white gold" built this region.
If you want to plan an escape or just see some beautiful travel inspiration, make sure to watch this final piece of our trip.

Two New Videos Inbound This Weekend! 🎬
We took a whirlwind weekend getaway to Austria and managed to pack in three wonderful locations. Because our time was limited on day one of the trip, these first two videos aren't quite as long or deep-dive as our usual content—so we’re sharing both of them with you this weekend!
🇦🇹 The Schedule:
Tonight (Friday) at 7:00 PM BST | Salzburg
Join us for a morning wander through historic streets once trodden by Mozart and the Von Trapp family. We'll be taking in some gorgeous city highlights, including the stunning Mirabell Gardens.
Tomorrow (Saturday, 23rd May) at 2:00 PM BST | St. Wolfgang
In Part 2, we continue our journey to a famous alpine lake town. Expect incredible vistas and a tour of the charming historic centre that served as our base for the weekend.
What about Part 3?
The final leg of this adventure will drop next weekend, taking you to one of Europe's most magical alpine villages—but you'll get a sneak peek at exactly where that is if you watch this weekend's episodes!
Quick reminder:
Tonight, 7:00 PM BST: Salzburg 🏰
Tomorrow, 2:00 PM BST: St. Wolfgang 🏔️
P.S. Will and I are actually away right now filming our brand-new Travel Series for 2026! Expect to see those adventures land on the channel in about a month or so. Stay tuned!
