The Woodchuck Chronicles Part 1 takes a look into the lives of woodchuck behavior around the openings of their burrow March through April. I have noted the timestamps that display their mating activities in the video description for those who want to skip around or cut too the chase.

Did you hear the Trumpeter Swans in this week's video? Trust me it is something you don't want to miss! I set out with a specific goal in mind but kept flexible in the field which allowed me some really cool photographic opportunities! Which part is your favorite?

Did you see our most recent video on the Short-Eared Owls that are in short supply (endangered) in New York State?
Yet New York's governing body is refusing to listen to its outraged citizens and is continuing to steal Short-Eared Owl Habitat for their solar "farms." This includes a solar complex that will completely surround the Washington County Grasslands Wildlife Management Area! My goal has been to visit that grassland to photograph the owls out there before construction starts but unfortunately weather and illness have prevented this. So, how many of you have photographed snowflakes on bird feathers? I hope this makes for a unique and poetic perspective (stick around to the end). Please comment what you think of the video and favorite photos. I hope you enjoy!
