*Conclusion: From Gilgal to Jordan β The Call to Greater Impact*
βββββββββββββββββ
In the Conclusion of Don't Stop Here!, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome brings the entire spiritual journey together. He reminds us that God has called us to a life of continuous growth, and that we must not stop at any stage β not Gilgal, not Bethel, not Jericho, and certainly not before Jordan.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π The Final Call*
Pastor Chris sums up the message of the book with these powerful words:
"There's another life, and God has brought it to light, He has revealed it to us through the gospel. This is why He calls us a new breed of people β *a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people."*
He then issues the final challenge:
"Don't stop now in your walk with God. Get ready to move from Gilgal to Jordan!"
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Key Insights from the Conclusion*
*β God has called us to maturity* β Not to remain as children, but to grow into sons and daughters.
*β Adoption is God's purpose for us* β We are predestined unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:5).
*β We are under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the Father* β Training is necessary, but it must lead to maturity (Galatians 4:1-2).
*β The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God β* Creation groans for those who have come to Jordan.
*β You must not stop here β* There is always more in God. Greater glory, greater power, greater impact.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Scripture Highlight*
_"And (God) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." β 2 Timothy 1:9_
_"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ." β Ephesians 4:15_
_"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." β Ephesians 1:3_
βββββββββββββββββ
*π οΈ Practical Application*
Take a moment to look back over this entire series. Ask yourself:
*πΉ Where did I start?* (Gilgal β Salvation)
*πΉ Where am I now?* (Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho, or Jordan?)
*πΉ What is my next step forward?*
Write it down. Pray over it. And then β take that step.
Pastor Chris says:
"This book is a divine instrument to stir you out of your comfort zone into deeper realms in the Spirit."
Now that you've read through this series, make a decision:
*"By God's grace, I will not stop here. I will move forward until I reach Jordan β and beyond."*
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Final Prayer*
Father, I thank You for this journey from Gilgal to Jordan. I thank You for every lesson, every insight, every challenge. Lord, I declare: I will not stop here. I will not remain at Gilgal. I will not settle at Bethel. I will not stop at Jericho. I press forward to Jordan β the place of maturity, authority, and divine confirmation. I am a son or daughter of God, and I will live like one. Empower me for greater impact. Use me to bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty Name. Amen. π
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What's Next?*
This concludes the series on Don't Stop Here! by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
But remember β the journey is not over. You have only just begun to walk in the fullness of what God has for you.

βββββββββββββββββ
π Day 5 β Monday, May 18, 2026
*Chapter 4: Jordan β The Place of Confirmation*
βββββββββββββββββ
In Chapter 4 of Don't Stop Here!, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome takes us to the final stop on the spiritual journey: *Jordan.* This is where the believer moves from warfare to maturity, authority, and divine confirmation.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What Jordan Means*
Jordan is the place where Elijah was taken up into heaven and where Elisha received a double portion of his spirit (2 Kings 2:7-14). It is also where Jesus was baptized and God the Father declared:
_"This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."_ (Matthew 3:17)
*At Jordan:*
*β You hear the voice of God* β Confirmation from Heaven over your life.
*β You are adopted as a mature son* β Not just a child, but one who has come of age.
*β You live beyond the senses*β No longer controlled by what you see, feel, or hear physically.
*β You operate in spiritual authority* β The flesh drops, and the spirit takes over.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What Happens at Jordan*
*1. You Hear the Voice of God*
At Jordan, God speaks openly over your life. He declares who you are and confirms your calling. Pastor Chris says:
"There are Christians who fail to recognise God's voice. They say, 'Well, I believe God talks to people but I can't say that He has spoken to me specifically.' You should be ashamed to say that, because God talks every time, and if you don't know that He has spoken to you, it's because you've not been listening."
At Jordan, you become one who hears and recognizes the voice of God clearly.
*2. You Are Adopted as a Son*
In the New Testament, adoption refers to the enthronement of a son β coming of age, being trusted with authority. Jesus lived thirty years before His ministry began, but at His baptism (at Jordan), God said:
"This is My beloved Son. Hear ye Him!" (Matthew 17:5)
Pastor Chris explains:
"The earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19)
Creation is not waiting for children of God who are still babes. It is waiting for those who have been raised, trained, and matured β those who have come to Jordan.
*3. You Live Beyond the Senses*
At Jordan, you no longer say, "I am sick," "I am broke," or "I can't." You have learned to live beyond your pockets, your bank accounts, and your physical body. Pastor Chris says:
"In Jordan, you live by the power of the 'Whirlwind' β the Holy Ghost β Who transports you from the natural realm into the supernatural!"
*4. The Flesh Drops Off*
At Jordan, every trace of the old life is removed. Habits that used to destroy you no longer have power. The flesh can't hold you down anymore. You have been translated into the realm of the Spirit.
βββββββββββββββββ
*β οΈ The Warning: Don't Stop Before Jordan*
Pastor Chris warns that many believers stop at Jericho. They become warriors β they prophesy, cast out devils, lay hands on the sick β but they never reach Jordan. As a result, they suffer things they shouldn't suffer. They cannot handle life's simplest issues.
He says:
_"I've seen warriors of Christ who died most miserably. They suffered things they shouldn't have suffered. I've seen people who prophesied, laid hands on the sick and cast out devils, who have not been able to handle life's simplest issues. They couldn't, because they stopped at Jericho."_
_Jordan is where you move from warfare to authority. From fighting to ruling._
βββββββββββββββββ
π*Key Insights from Chapter 4*
*β Jordan is the place of confirmation* β God speaks over your life and declares who you are.
*β Jordan is the place of adoption* β You come of age and are trusted with spiritual authority.
*β Jordan is where the flesh drops off* β The old life, old habits, and carnal limitations lose their power.
*β Jordan is the place of translation* β You live beyond the senses, in the supernatural realm.
*β Jordan is not optional* β Every believer is called to arrive at this place of maturity.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π οΈ Practical Application*
*Ask yourself honestly:*
πΉ Have I heard the voice of God clearly over my life?
πΉ Am I still a child in the Spirit, or have I come to a place of maturity?
πΉ Do I still live by my senses β what I see, feel, and experience β or do I live by the Spirit?
πΉ Have I stopped at Jericho, satisfied with being a warrior, but not pressing into authority?
πΉ What habits, limitations, or mindsets do I need to leave behind at Jordan?
*Make this declaration in your heart:*
"I have come to Jordan. I am a mature son or daughter of God. I live beyond the senses. I walk in spiritual authority. I will not stop here β I will go all the way with God."
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Scripture Highlight*
_"And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on."_ β 2 Kings 2:6
_"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."_ β Matthew 3:17
"The earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God." β Romans 8:19
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Prayer*
Father, I have come to Jordan. I have heard Your voice confirming me as Your son or daughter. I receive the adoption β the maturity, the authority, and the responsibility that comes with being a mature child of God. I leave behind every trace of the old life. I refuse to live by my senses any longer. I live by the power of the Holy Ghost. I declare: I am not a child anymore. I am a son or daughter of God, and I am ready to handle the things of the Spirit. In Jesus' Name. Amen. π

βββββββββββββββββ
π Day 4 β Monday, May 18, 2026
*Chapter 3: Jericho β Where You Meet the Holy Ghost*
βββββββββββββββββ
In Chapter 3 of Don't Stop Here!, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome takes us to the third stop on the spiritual journey: *Jericho.* This is where the believer moves from commitment to *warfare, power, and the strategies of the Holy Spirit.*
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What Jericho Means*
Jericho is not just a city in the Bible β *it is a place of encounter.* In Joshua 5:13-15, Joshua was by Jericho when he met the Captain of the Lord's host (the Holy Spirit) with a drawn sword.
This is the place where:
*β You meet the Holy Ghost* β A personal, powerful encounter with the Spirit of God
*β You receive divine strategies* β Not human plans, but God's way of doing things
*β Walls come down* β Obstacles, barriers, and challenges fall before you
*β You become a warrior* β No more slave mentality; you are a soldier of Christ
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What Happens at Jericho*
*1. You Meet the Captain of the Lord's Host*
When Joshua saw the man with a drawn sword, he asked:
_"Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?"_
The man replied:
_"Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come."_
At this, Joshua fell on his face and worshipped. He realized he was in the presence of the Holy Ghost.
Pastor Chris explains:
_"When you come to Jericho, you leave your human strategies and take up the Holy Ghost's strategies. You stop thinking carnally. You stop using your calculator to tell how much you can have. You stop using your bank account to determine how much you're able to do."_
*2. You Learn the Power of Praise and Silence*
The Holy Ghost gave Joshua a strange strategy for Jericho:
Β· March around the walls once a day for six days
Β· On the seventh day, march around seven times
Β· Be silent until the final moment
Β· Then shout β and the walls will fall down
Pastor Chris reveals:
_"In Jericho, you learn the power of praise and the power of silence. You know when to be quiet and when to shout."_
*3. You Become a Warrior*
At Gilgal, you're excited about salvation.
At Bethel, you become committed.
But at Jericho, *you become a fighter.*
Pastor Chris declares:
_"When you get to Jericho, you start talking differently. You start talking about taking cities, nations, and the world. You're different now. Your life has changed."_
This is the place where:
Β· You pray with understanding
Β· You speak words of power
Β· Fire comes out of your mouth
Β· You conquer cities and nations for Jesus Christ
βββββββββββββββββ
*β οΈ The Warning: Don't Stop at Jericho*
Pastor Chris makes it clear: *Jericho is not your final destination.*
He says:
_"I've seen warriors of Christ who died most miserably. They suffered things they shouldn't have suffered. I've seen people who prophesied, laid hands on the sick, and cast out devils, who have not been able to handle life's simplest issues. They couldn't, because they stopped at Jericho."_
You can be a warrior and still have struggles. You can be in Jericho and still have little foxes spoiling the vine of your life. That is why you must *move on to Jordan.*
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Key Insights from Chapter 3*
*β Jericho is where you meet the Holy Ghost* β Not just know about Him, but encounter Him personally
*β The Holy Ghost gives you divine strategies* β Human plans cannot bring down walls
*β Praise and silence are powerful weapons* β Know when to shout and when to be quiet
*β At Jericho, you become a warrior* β No more slave mentality; you are a soldier of Christ
*β Jericho is not the end* β Warriors can still struggle; you must move on to Jordan
βββββββββββββββββ
*π οΈ Practical Application*
Ask yourself honestly:
πΉ _Have I truly met the Holy Ghost β not just as a doctrine, but as a personal reality?_
_πΉ Am I operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, or am I still relying on my own strategies?_
_πΉ Do I know when to be silent and when to shout in prayer and praise?_
_πΉ Have I become a warrior in the Kingdom, or am I still a spectator?_
_πΉ Am I ready to move from Jericho to Jordan?_
*Make this declaration in your heart:*
"I have met the Holy Ghost. I am a warrior. But I will not stop at Jericho. I am moving forward to Jordan."
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Scripture Highlight*
"And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand... And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come." β Joshua 5:13-14
"And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho." β 2 Kings 2:4
βββββββββββββββββ
*π Prayer for Jericho*
Father, I thank You for the Holy Ghost. I thank You that I do not fight with human weapons or carnal strategies. Lord, meet me at Jericho. Let me encounter the Captain of Your host. Teach me the power of praise and the power of silence. Give me Your divine strategies for every wall in my life β walls of finances, walls of health, walls of relationships, walls of stagnation. I declare: walls come down in my life. I am a warrior for Your Kingdom. But Lord, I refuse to stop at Jericho. Lead me forward to Jordan. In Jesus' mighty Name. Amen. π

*THIRTY-ONE (31) SILENCE FACTS ABOUT THE RAPTURE*
1. It is going to be the next greatest event that will shock all the continents of the world.
2. It is going to take place suddenly, abruptly, unexpectedly, without warning and without prior notice.
3. There shall be no second version of the event.
4. A greater percentage of Christians may be taken unawares.
5. Careless Christians who miss the event will have no other similar gracious opportunity.
6. The event shall have no regard or respect for ecclesiastical titles or church leadership positions.
7. It shall be a day when the sheep shall be separated from the goats.
8. The day shall differentiate between the Broad Way Christians from the Narrow Way Christians.
9. The day shall separate sincerity from hypocrisy.
10. The day shall differentiate between those who harbour secret sins from those who abhor secret sins.
11. The day shall separate those whose lives are hidden in Christ from those who are hiding in the church.
12. The day shall show a glaring, clear, conspicuous, demarcation between Christians who walk on the path of holiness from those who walk on the path of worldliness.
13. It shall be a day of double emotion: joy for some and unimaginable, indescribable, uncontrollable regrets for others.
14. It shall be a day of surprises- some βBig namesβ may miss the flight while some βLess knownβ may be on board.
15. Another surprise may be that a man or woman who had faithfully served the Lord for many years may defile his or her garment a few minutes before the sound of that summoning trumpet and miss the flight while a notorious sinner may surrender his or her life to Jesus within the same time frame and go to heaven.
16. This event may happen now, today, this week, this month, this year or next year!
17. Wise Christians, like the five virgins that took extra oil, are expected to get ready, yes, to get prepared.
18. After the event, all those who are bitter against one another, malicious, unforgiving, jealous, arrogant, haters, hypocrites, drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, adulteresses, murderers with weapons and murderers with tongue etc, shall have enough time to continue in their trade.
19. When the event is over there shall be revival among those who have chosen to stay behind not because there will be a second chance, no, but because the reality of the event would have struck them like a thunderbolt. But they will have to pay with their own blood.
20. When the event is over, those who are left behind shall no longer be safe to worship in their gigantic, fanciful and multi-billion Dollars/Cedis cathedrals. Instead they shall seek safety in caves, bushes and abandoned and dilapidated but hidden structures.
21. When this great event is over, each time those who will miss their flight manage to gather for worship, they will pay attention to only one sermon- whether they gather in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North or South America; the sermon will only centre on βHow to Meet the Divine Standard and Join the Other Saintsβ.
22. It is also worthy to note that those who will be left behind will never have any business with comedians at their altars anymore. No! There shall no longer be gatherings for entertainments. Whenever, they manage to gather, it shall always be for serious religious business only.
23. The prayer pattern of those who will be left behind will also undergo a radical change. They will not be praying for things anymore. They will only be praying for strength to withstand the tortures of the Anti-Christ and die bravely to join the other saints. None will be praying for jobs, marriages, etc.
24. It is equally worthy of note that some of those who will miss their flight will not be able to endure the torture of the Anti Christ. They will receive the mark of the beast and thereby be doomed forever.
25. When the ready saints are gone, all our denominational walls of partition will collapse. The man or woman who use to worship in Deeper Life, for instance, will hide in the same place with those who worship in Christ Embassy, Church of God Mission, Assemblies of God, Word Aflame, Action Chapel, Winners Chapel, Lighthouse Chapel etc and nobody will remember to claim superiority anymore because then they will be facing a common enemy.
26. When this event is over, each time believers who will miss their flight manage to gather anywhere for worship, there will be an atmosphere of sobriety. This rowdiness we witness today shall be no more.
β¬
27. There shall also be a radical change in the attitude of those who will miss their flight towards Bible study. What we have now is an attitude characterized by a high degree of nonchalance and indifference, but when the ready saints are gone, those who will be left behind will begin to take their bible study seriously.
28. All the teens and youths who come to church to please their parents will repent after this great event; yes, they will begin to seek God for themselves.
29. When the event is over, all those who will do any form of business in the schools, hospitals, banks, etc, will have to bear the mark of beast (666) or be hunted down and killed like common criminals.
30. One of the gains of this reminder is that there may be someone reading this piece today who will take a firm decision to ensure that he/she gets on board that celestial flight travelling to glory.
31. However, one of the greatest tragedies of this reminder is that there may be someone too who is reading this piece today but who will see no need to heed this warning. A tragedy!
If you are not yet born again, we invite you to believe with all your heart and pray the prayer of salvation and God will hear you now.
π *PRAYER OF SALVATION*
_"O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He's alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I'm born again. Thank you Lord for saving my soul! I'm now a child of God. Hallelujah!"_
Congratulations! Be rest assured that God heard you, you are now a child of God.

π Don't Stop Here! β Book Review #3 (Chapter 2)
βββββββββββββββββ
π Day 3 β Friday, May 15, 2026
Chapter 2: Bethel β The Place of the Altar
βββββββββββββββββ
In Chapter 2 of Don't Stop Here!, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome takes us to the second stop on the spiritual journey: Bethel. This is where the believer moves from mere salvation to commitment, surrender, and the place of the vow.
βββββββββββββββββ
π What Bethel Means
The name Bethel means "House of God." It is the place where Abraham built an altar to the Lord (Genesis 12:7-8). It is where Jacob encountered God in a dream, saw a ladder reaching to heaven, and made a vow to the Lord (Genesis 28:12-22).
Bethel is the place where you:
β Build an altar β A place of surrender and commitment to God
β Make a vow β A sacred agreement with the Lord
β Declare God as your God β Not just the God of your parents, but your own personal God
β Commit to His house β His work, His people, His kingdom
βββββββββββββββββ
π What Happens at Bethel
1. You Recognize God as Your Lord
At Bethel, you move beyond knowing about God to truly knowing Him as your God. Jacob said:
"Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not... This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." (Genesis 28:16-17)
2. You Make a Vow to God
Jacob made a commitment at Bethel. He said:
"If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on... then shall the Lord be my God: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee." (Genesis 28:20-22)
The tithe (one-tenth) was Jacob's way of honoring God with his resources.
3. You Commit to God's House
At Bethel, you not only commit to God personally, but also to His house. King David said:
"I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord remaineth under curtains... I will build him an house." (1 Chronicles 17:1)
When you get to Bethel, you begin to care about God's house, His work, and His purposes.
βββββββββββββββββ
β οΈ The Warning: Don't Stop at Bethel
Pastor Chris makes it clear: Bethel is not your final destination.
Some Christians stop at Bethel. They make a commitment to God, they tithe, they attend church faithfully, they are reliable and committed. But there is still more ahead.
Elijah said to Elisha at Bethel:
"Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jericho." (2 Kings 2:4)
Elisha refused to stop. He said:
"As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee."
Pastor Chris points out a key difference between faithfulness and faith:
"They are faithful, they can be trusted that every time the church doors open, they'll be there. But that's just about how far they'll go."
Bethel is good. Bethel is necessary. But there is a Jericho to move on to.
βββββββββββββββββ
π Key Insights from Chapter 2
β Bethel is the place of commitment β Where you declare, "Lord, all I have is yours."
β Bethel is the place of the vow β Where you make a sacred agreement with God.
β Bethel is the place of the altar β Where you surrender your life completely to God.
β Bethel is not the end β Elisha moved on from Bethel to Jericho, and so must you.
β Faithfulness is good, but faith moves beyond commitment β Being faithful at Bethel is not the same as moving forward in faith.
βββββββββββββββββ
π οΈ Practical Application
Ask yourself honestly:
πΉ Have I truly made a commitment to God β a vow, an altar in my life?
πΉ Is God truly my God, or am I still serving Him from a distance?
πΉ Do I tithe? Do I honor God with my resources and my time?
πΉ Am I committed to God's house β His church, His people, His work?
πΉ Have I stopped at Bethel, satisfied with being faithful, but not pressing into greater impact?
Make this declaration in your heart:
"I have made a vow to God. But I will not stop at Bethel. I am moving forward to Jericho."
βββββββββββββββββ
π Scripture Highlight

π Prayer for Bethel
Father, I come to You at Bethel β the place of the altar. I surrender my life afresh to You. I make a vow to You today: You are my God, and I will honor You with all that I have. I commit my time, my resources, my talents, and my future to You and to Your house. But Lord, I refuse to stop at Bethel. Let this commitment not be the end of my journey, but a stepping stone to greater things. Lead me from Bethel to Jericho. In Jesus' Name. Amen. π

*FORGIVE AND LET IT PASS*
π΄ If you claim to be living unto the Lord but still harbour hurt, offence, or anger, it raises the question of whether your desire to please the Lord is genuine.
π΄ Your displeasure should reflect Godβs displeasure. That means you take nothing personally and become impervious to personal offences.
π΄ Living unto Christ means finding contentment and fulfilment in what pleases Him. Your displeasure is reserved only for what displeases Him.
π΄ Donβt find yourself grappling with discontent, burdened by lifeβs concerns and challenges. Learn the value and fulfilment of living unto Christ.
π΄ Transcend personal feelings and align yourself with Godβs divine will.
π΄ Focus on pleasing Christ, not yourself.
π΄ Let go of personal offences. Align yourself with Godβs will for true contentment and peace.
π΄ Live above all the wrong things others have said or done to you.
π΄ You may remember those things sometimes, but you shouldnβt hold them against those people. Remain friendly and courteous toward them instead.
π΄ You canβt move with the Holy Spirit while carrying the hurtful things people said or did to you. Let go of the hurt, and youβll see yourself flowing freely in the anointing of Godβs Spirit.
π΄ Donβt hold anything against anyone who wrongs you. Be quick to forgive, just as Christ forgave you.
π΄ Walk in love toward all people and move in the power of Godβs Spirit every day.
π΄ Are you holding a grudge against anyone? Itβs time to let go of that baggage. Forgive and walk in love toward them, no matter what theyβve done or said against you.
π΄ GOD BLESS YOU π

*Chapter 1: Gilgal β The Place of Beginning*
βββββββββββββββββ
In Chapter 1 of Don't Stop Here!, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome takes us to the very first stop on the spiritual journey: Gilgal. _*This is where every believer begins, but it is never meant to be where they remain.*_
Using the story of Elijah and Elisha (2 Kings 2), Pastor Chris shows us that Gilgal is the starting point β but those who desire greater impact must move forward.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π What Gilgal Means*
The word Gilgal means *"rolling away."* This comes from Joshua 5:9, where God said to Joshua:
"This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you."
Gilgal is the place where:
β *God rolls away the reproach of the world*β When you come to Christ, the shame, guilt, and bondage of your old life are removed.
β *Salvation begins*β It is the place of the new birth, where you confess Jesus as Lord.
β *The journey starts*β It is the first step in your walk with God.
But Pastor Chris makes it clear: Gilgal is only the beginning.

*β οΈ The Danger of Staying at Gilgal*
Many Christians make a tragic mistake β they stop at Gilgal. They are saved, but they never grow. They remain spiritual babies, still influenced by the world, still making carnal choices, still desiring to be "like other nations."
In 1 Samuel 11:14-15, the children of Israel went to Gilgal to renew the kingdom, and there they made Saul king. Saul represents the king of the flesh β the wrong choice. At Gilgal, you are inclined to choose the flesh instead of the Spirit.
Pastor Chris warns:
"If the only testimony of your life is 'I'm saved,' then you have not yet moved forward."
If you have been born again for years but cannot be distinguished from a new convert, you are still at Gilgal.

*π Key Insights from Chapter 1*
β *Salvation is not the finish line*β It is the starting line.
β *Gilgal is the place of renewal* β Backsliders must return here and start again, but that should not be your testimony.
β *The flesh wants to stay at Gilgal* β Carnal choices, worldly desires, and a "like other nations" mindset keep you stuck.
β *Elijah told Elisha to stop at Gilgal*β But Elisha refused. He said, "As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee." Elisha knew there was more ahead.
βββββββββββββββββ
*π οΈ Practical Application*
*Take time today to honestly answer these questions:*
πΉ How long have I been saved, and how much have I grown?
πΉ Are my role models still men and women of the world, or are they men and women of God?
πΉ Do I still desire to be "like other nations" (unbelievers), or am I pressing into the things of God?
πΉ What one decision will I make today to leave Gilgal behind?
Make this declaration in your heart:
*"I will not stop at Gilgal. I am moving forward in God."*

*π Scripture Highlight*
"And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day." β Joshua 5:9
"And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Beth-el. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee." β 2 Kings 2:2
βββββββββββββββββ
π *Prayer for Moving Forward from Gilgal*
Father, I thank You for the gift of salvation. I thank You that You rolled away the reproach of the world from my life. But Lord, I refuse to remain at Gilgal. I refuse to be a stagnant Christian. I refuse to be satisfied with only being saved. Stir up a fresh hunger in me for more of You. Let me not be influenced by the world or by carnal desires. Lead me out of Gilgal and into Bethel, into Jericho, into Jordan. I declare: I will not stop here. My life will be a testimony of growth, power, and impact for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' mighty Name. Amen. π
