Good morning

The end of the week is fast approaching thankfully - I have another two days of learning first aid training so a nice chilled out one for me!

Just really wanted to say a massive thank you to you all…

YouTube is a funny place - it takes a lot of effort, time and of course money to buy these models - and sometimes you wonder why when you make a video and literally nobody watches them.

For YouTube was always a way (along with Instagram) of documenting my collection and also a way of recording my voice for my boy when I’m long gone so he can listen to me ramble about aircraft- but also a way of sharing my passion which keeps the mind busy especially when things around can often be falling apart

Over the last month we’ve had two videos that have done very well - the Aussie Canberra being one - and it just helps remind me why I do this. I hope you enjoy them (it’s lovely to see all the comments) and of course if there’s things you don’t like such as intro music very high - I’m happy to try and change them.

With the summer air show season approaching including Duxford and Shuttleworth shows (I was doing RIAT but damn they cancelled) I will put some airshow compilations together as well including flightline walks and of course the stalls, as well as a visit to ARD at some point.

Again thanks for all the love and hopefully you will tune in tonight at 1900 for another cracking release of an aircraft that I’ve grown up with on the airshow scene at Duxford

The frustrating thing is there are some serious
Plus points - but overall this model is a disaster I’m afraid!

D day the 6th June

A day etched in history that changed the war and the history of the planet - yet a huge sacrifice was made by all Concerned.

A day also close to my heart - where my grandad as a relatively young man, landed thankfully for us on the 7th June after the horrors of the first day had subsided - and then promptly got lost near Caen for two days 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Yet regardless in my eyes still a hero and a man I would have loved to have met and listened to his stories.

Here’s a video I did on the man cave with a selection of d day aircraft (well anything I had in 1/72 anyway)

Good evening folks

Been very quiet of late - but rest assured a lot to get my teeth into soon!

Had a hectic few weeks and taken some time out to focus on work and spending time with RAFE and Sarah and the boys - which in all honesty was much needed as Sometimes this can take over your life some what!

Had a little meet up with Garry for a cuppa at North Weald in between meetings and he has a few arriving from the southern hemisphere as well as a very special project we can’t reveal just yet but is a very important milestone for the page And to say I’m Proud of him is an understatement !

Still planning that ‪@CORGIDieCast‬ Q and A at some point and hopefully have the guys from the VAE on to talk volume III soon as well (which hopefully I will sort tonight!)

Also had permission from ARD in Hillingdon to do a shop Visit at some point which is very kind (thank you Paul and the team)

Now to try and find the time to do it all!!!
