Hello guys I hope you are all well, I am not well at this moment due to flu but anyway.
Just a quick announcement, I will be bring you some iCaur content and Toyota content pretty soon. It is just that it is hard to get those cars to film so that you can see how they look. Also I am not 100% fully recovered after last week’s flu which to be honest it has been the worst flu that I have ever experienced this year, where almost every part of your body is aching and feeling very hot. The last time I felt like that, was back in 2011.
So please be patient with me as I am navigating to get those cars for you to watch while I am not 100% fully recovered and also being busy at work as well. The video of Coffee and Cars The V excellence will be live tomorrow at 12PM SAST so don’t miss that video, some burnouts and an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio went almost in the bushes.
I can officially now say that we on the road to 10 000 subscribers so please hit that subscribe and that bell icon for new videos coming to the channel pretty soon, including a very big video coming later this year (let’s hope the door handles are working on that car I want to buy) and that hopefully will take the channel in a direction where I want to be.

Hello guys I hope you are doing well on this Sunday, just a quick announcement on what is happening with me and this channel.
I know I have been away for quite some time and no long form video has been posted for almost 3 weeks and the reason why there is no long form video at this moment, is because I have started a new job recently at a school in Paarl so I must get used to the new job and also that I actually studied for and as you guys know what is happening in our schools today. 1000 things are happening there.
Secondly in terms of my YouTube channel the long form videos will now be every week and not every 2 or 3 days of uploading, I will be uploading only on Wednesdays at 6PM SAST just in time for your dinner on a new car video which by the way I will be bringing you the Lepas content coming to the channel in this month where I will be giving you everything that you must know about and also we are waiting for the new Suzuki Victoris/Across to be launched in South Africa pretty soon.
And lastly the channel car that I want to buy is still on the table, which means expect a new channel car coming to the channel this year where I will explain on how we will be managing it alongside my Renault Kwid which for almost 10 years is my daily driver and in need of fixing up.
I hope you guys are pumped for what is coming to the channel and also please be patient with me as I am navigating my personal life and the challenges that are coming to my way.
I will see you on the 11th of this month with the new Lepas L4.

Audi has revealed the worthy fighter to the BMW M3 Competition and the now flopped Mercedes-AMG C63s e-performance and it is the second car in the trio to get a plug-in hybrid system. At least it is not a silly 4 cylinder though.
Under the bonnet you still have a 2.9L biturbo V6 which alone it makes 510PS(375kW) and 600Nm of torque and a 177PS(130kW) and 460Nm electric motor with a 22kWh net battery which you can do around 80km on a single charge. That in total makes 639PS(470kW) and 825Nm of torque, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 3.6 seconds which it is on par with a BMW M3 Competition but slightly slower than a Mercedes-AMG C63s e-performance. Top speed is limited to 285km/h when you get the Audi’s optional sport package which considering that should have been available as standard especially with almost 500kW of power.

This is a Nissan Triber aka the Gravite which it was launched just now, you get a Nissan specific front-end, new alloy wheels with an interesting decal, etc.
You get some extra features over the Renault Triber like a dual dash cam, JBL sound system, air purifier, wireless charging.
Engine wise you still have the infamous 1.0L 3 cylinder naturally aspirated engine which it makes the same 72PS(52kW) and 96Nm, available in 5 speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

And as DJ Khaled would say “another one”, Toyota fans take out your tissues. This Corolla Cross has just received 2 stars in adult occupancy and some 3 stars for the child occupancy.
The reason why the low score in the crash test rating, is due to the absence of side head protection airbag (this one is the entry-level which it doesn’t come with one and only on the XR and GR-S). Also its footwell area is rated as unstable but the bodyshell is stable.
So what is your opinion on this latest crash test rating of the Toyota Corolla Cross? Considering almost everyone is driving one.

This is the Indian version of the 3rd generation Renault Duster which it has some small changes over the current Duster that we have in South Africa and the good news is that we will be getting this Indian Duster instead of the overseas Duster. Launch date unconfirmed for now.
Also a Nissan Duster (aka Tekton) will be coming to South Africa and I did show you a teaser of the front-end of the Nissan Duster aka the Tekton last year.
