Heya everyone. The past couple of weeks have been REALLY hard with the brain fatigue. (If you want to read more about brain fatigue, my neuro people recommend this site: brainfatigue.se/en/homepage/)

My neuro therapist did some testing about a week and a half ago, and to most people it would seem like a piece of cake: easy easy. We had some hands-on puzzles with replicating shapes on a page using blocks, and also verbal math questions like "If Jan gave away half his tickets, and lost three, and he has 4 left, how many did he start out with?" Indeed, they felt easy to me as well.

But it is the day after that a small bomb hits, and the 2nd day after that the second massive atom bomb lands... just feeling absolutely horrendous. So much pain... you feel you are made out of pain and there is nothing else in the universe. It was even worse than after I recorded Factorio. Those, bad states, from my experience last about 11 days. Well... this past week we had another appt, and I asked him to go gently with me... so we did towers of Hanoi puzzles (the three sticks and ring-shaped blocks)... and that seems to have added a booster to my messed up state. Again, it felt easy, but the aftermath hits like a train.

I experience severe brain fog, hard to think, no mental energy to do stuff, physical exhaustion, as well as the excruciating pain. You can ask Mathias... I was so grateful he was able to come over and care for me the other day❤️

So anyway, after the "booster" of bad brain-ness, I expect another 9 days of healing at least before I can do anything of value.

I am able to use my phone to make videos, so I will be updating you with new information and updates on my Swedish healthcare adventure. Ive had some very devastating news, and its taken me a bit to process. But I think that there is value in the telling of the mental as well as the physical journey, not just as a personal vlog, but as a story of resilience, survival, and triumph over fear and severe physical situations.

Of course, the "triumph" part is still in process, and not yet certain, but we can go on the journey together.

Ill be posting major updates on both my gaming channel as well as RS, and then more detailed stuff as well as cultural videos (like the differences in healthcare philosophy, etc) on Refreshingly Swedish, so if you are subbed to RS, you will see ALL the hospital videos.

Naughty YouTube bait and switch!

Firstly, THANK YOU to everyone who went over to my Swedish channel and subscribed to support me! 💗💗💗

But YT apparently has new hurdles. 500 subscribers only lets you offer Memberships, but not get paid for ads! Oof! We need 1000 subscribers to do that, so if you haven't checked it out yet, please do! I have tons of interesting content coming out two to three times a week!
