it's definitely been a while since my last post or video and I do apologise for that.
I have recently started my level 4 as my tutor has contacted me and my first meeting is on jan 20th :3 so I will be going full steam ahead with that and trying to get what I can done in whatever time I have so that I can finish faster!!
But... in some amazing news, James and I have closed in on our first ever home!! :D we very very recently reserved a new build home and it should be done by mid summer and I'm so excited!! this means that I get my very own studio/study where I can film and work on videos with actual space and time!! I'm genuinely so excited because I can finally work on videos that I have planned that I've felt that I have no room to film and I can have everything in one room and since James also used to produce content, I won't ever get odd looks or be told to be quiet by family haha so I can be confident and content in making videos.
However, as both of these are going to be very time consuming, I will probably go on a small hiatus until we move in and get settled so that the majority of my level 4 will be done, I will have my license and be comfortable driving to and from work (motorway driving yay) and I will have my studio fully set up and ready to go :3 so I will aim to resume content at the end of the year, maybe around October but I don't want to set anything in stone.
Japan vlogs will be coming soon, I just have no time to do them so I may also wait until I have my studio set up so that I'm able to work longer in a space I can move and work it
Thank you for all being so patient with me. Every time I try to return to youtube I always have something big going on haha. But here's to the future!!
wow, it's been so long so I was active on here ;-; if you're not apart of my discord and receiving my updates, I recently (about 6 weeks ago) went up to 5 days a week at work, which means that I'm currently at my place of work for 50 hours a week. which only leaves me the weekends as I do 10 hour shifts. because of this, i'm really struggling with work/life balance again as i'm just sleeping my weekends away because i'm so exhausted. however, as the weeks go on, it's definitely getting better and my body is becoming more accustomed to it
because of this, content has, yet again sadly, taken a back burner and i'm so sorry for that. i'm working hard behind the scenes getting ideas up together, creating thumbnail templates, getting items for hauls and lookbooks etc and generally planning out my content calendar. please be patient as i get everything back up together and work out my life so that i don't get burnt out ~
i'm planning on going full steam ahead come the new year. i know i said this last year as i was doing my level 3 but i'm genuinely going to work hard, get my butt out of bed and make something of my content. i do have tonnes planned and i'm slowly getting the bits for it so i'm really excited to film and edit everything

thank you for sticking by me during the whirlwind that is my life constantly changing xD everything hits me very suddenly and i'm trying my best to adjust, adapt and overcome. i hope that the wait for my content is worth it and that i help my community with japanese plus size fashion, as that is my goal with this channel ~

I have stream dates planned for editing the japan vlogs on both here and twitch!! however, I didn’t get as much footage as I wanted so they won’t have individual videos, they’ll probably be bunched by 2/3 days with the event days having their own videos (sanrio, ghibli etc). But, the post japan info will have its own video and instagram has spoken; the haul video will be a longer video with everything in instead of shorter, more categorised videos ~
regular videos will resume after the japan vlogs and videos have gone up (I’m planning for around September) :3 I have a bunch of ideas planned for videos so it’s just filming them and putting them into action 😂

however, I've picked up a brand new camera for when we go to japan (japan vlogs will still be a huge part of this channel) so I've asked on twitter if I should do a mini vlog/camera test this weekend when I go to animangapop!! I'm finally busting out my lolita dress that james bought me for christmas and everyone voted yes so I plan on getting that video out sometime around March 8th :3
I'm so sorry I promised you all weekly videos and then didn't produce them. My tutor is really on my case about getting my stuff done so I can finish when she says I can finish by so I thought, if I get it all done and focus on that, I can put so much more time into filming and editing and getting this channel off the ground since I'll have tuesdays and the weekends free to do content. I can also then work on getting my other socials off the ground too ^_^

I’ve been having really bad work/school/personal life balance atm since work has finally upped my hours so I’m now doing 4, 9.5 hour days and with schooling on top, I’m getting no time for myself lately so filming had been out on hold. if you're an active twitter user, you'll know of the absolute mess Elon made of it yesterday and it doesn't seem to be getting any better imo. because of that, I'm going to be slowly migrating away from the platform and using my other ones. this doesn't mean I won't be off of there permanently as I do love how twitter works and always have done, but it's becoming intolerable to use

I'm slowly working on content alongside my exams, one of which I had on wednesday, so once that is done I'll be able to go full steam ahead on content for awhile before I start to get into the stressful stuff regarding school.
if you haven't seen any of my updates on that; I'm currently working on my level 3 in childcare. I've just done the level 2 portion (my exams) and I'll fully know the results by mid august. the level 3 portion is the observations in work and an insane amount of coursework to prove that I'm able to carry out activities based on children's development and ability levels and that I'm capable to work with children in a childcare setting. this level 3 portion will take me about a year, due to finish the end of april. this, unfortunately, is going to take up a large chunk of my time as I have to do this alongside working (I have to have 700 hour of work placement to also pass the level 3)
I'm trying to create content as and when I can whilst doing these 2 things and also giving myself time to rest and relax and do other things but I'm definitely trying my best xD I'll still aim to do biweekly videos but sometimes that may not be physically possible so thank you for sticking by me and supporting my content journey <33
