Education becomes truly meaningful when knowledge is joined with Tarbiyah and character.

Haji Imran Attari, Head of Central Advisory Council, Dawat-e-Islami and Patron of Dar-ul-Madina International University, addressed students and faculty during the Tarbiyah Congregation organised by Education Council, Dawat-e-Islami, at Faizan-e-Madinah, International Islamic Centre, Karachi.

In his session, he emphasised that formal education alone is not enough to build a responsible society. Many individuals may achieve academic and professional success, yet when moral training, accountability and character building are missing, society continues to face corruption, dishonesty and ethical decline.

He highlighted the importance of developing students who are not only educated, but also morally strong, spiritually aware and conscious of their responsibilities before Allah Almighty and society.

The session also included an interactive Q&A, where students had the opportunity to seek guidance on academic, practical and moral matters.

Members of Education Council’s Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education were also present on the occasion.

At DMIU, the aim is to integrate higher education with Islamic values, Tarbiyah and character development, preparing students to contribute positively with knowledge, integrity and purpose.
