Guys, today I visited the Olde General Store in Cave City, KY for the very first time! Awesome place with all sorts of antiques! But I am super curious! I FOUND THE COOLEST THING EVER! A Floyd Collins Crystal Cave pennant from 1917-1960? I am a huge lover of caving, and I love Mammoth Cave and I know the story of Floyd Collins who got trapped in Sand Cave. I also have hiked to Crystal Cave where his old homestead is. But I have never ever seen something like this! Also, I have yet to take the tour of Crystal Cave. I noticed that there is a coffin? On the pennant. Does anyone know anything about this? Iām curious. And I also acquired a really cool old painting of the Mill in Babcock State Park, West Virginia! Itās painted and signed by a man from Louisville, KY! I love that mill and that park so I bought it! Last thing, there is a tag on the pennant that says it was purchased from Mammoth Cave National Park. I am super curious about this. The gypsum flower on the pennant is gorgeous too. I saw one of those inside the cave recently and man is it breathtaking.
My final day in Alaska, I finished my food tour off with Wild Scoops in Anchorage! Absolutely great! I got the Rock On The Wild Side waffle cone, which was awesome! Totally recommend!
My camera roll from Lake Clark National Park, Alaskašā¦HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! Wow! I flew over on Lake Clark Air, grabbed coffee in Port Alsworth and after hitting the visitor center, got straight to hiking! Tanalian Falls (Slide 2,3) and Kontrashibuna Lake (Slide 1) were perfection.š¤ I canāt believe such a beautiful place is so desolate! Less than 20,000 people a year on average visit! And there was only 4 people total that landed the day I showed up! Me, my mom and 2 others. Lake Clark is an ABSOLUTE, MUST VISIT! Over 4 MILLION acres to explore! I will say though, itās quite the journey to get there! Best journey ever though! I would love to come back!
When I took the Kenai Fjords National Park boat tour, they served up margaritas with ice from the Holgate Glacier! So yeah, I drunk glacier ice! It was like $9 for a cup but it tasted awesome! I also got to hold a different piece of glacier ice they cut off and passed around! Holgate Glacier is the final slides.š„¶
If youāre interested at all in nature and travel, I would love to once again recommend my travel channel, where I show off national parks and other beautiful places. When I travel, I film more than food, and this channel showcases that. āŖ@Lukedoestravel⬠šHereās the link.
Last night, I left Anchorage, Alaska, and got on a 10 hour flight back home to Kentucky, and I made it.šŖ I arrived back home around 10 AM after a whopping 32 days gone to Alaska and back! When I drove to Maine in January 2025, I was gone for 29 days total! I never ever expected to be in Alaska for a whole month, but life sure takes us all on interesting adventures. Thank you all for your support to me and my family while we did our best to comfort and support my grandma through her hard times in Alaska. Iām back home, and I got a lot of things to get back to in order but for now, expect about 20 more Alaska food reviews incoming! I filmed a lot and I canāt wait to share it with you! I love you all!!ā¤ļøā¤ļø
For a while now my grandma was slowly recovering, but today was very unexpected. I figured I should post this because a lot of you have been wanting to know. Thank you everyone for caring.ā¤ļø
When I was in Juneau, Alaska I got recommended their juice! Juneau Juice! The nectar of the gods for real! It tastes like a blue moon with even more orange in it! Pretty rad.š¤
