Just an FYI for the hardcore series: I recently switched to using YoloMouse, which is a super useful mouse overlay that allows for custom mouse cursors in games.

When pvp gets crazy, it can be hard to keep track of your mouse, especially when fighting in areas with similar grey colors (inside castles, v arena, etc). YoloMouse fixed the issue entirely for me.

Issue is that it doesn't get picked up on recording... Pretty sure it's because it's only showing the application (v rising). I did however capture desktop as well, so I'm trying to see if I can use that to let the mouse show up.

Sorry that it's annoying :/

Update: Finished the Hardcore run last Thursday. Been completely absorbed in the recent BBB wipe, but Episode 1 will uploaded soon, and I'll try to get them uploaded daily until it's done.

It has come to my attention that there is a severe lack of Brutal Hardcore/Permadeath V Rising runs on YT.

I will be remedying this shortly.

This may be surprising, but the last time I did a fully Solo PvE run of this game was 2023 when I was practicing some speedrun strats from start to finish.

Videos will be released in Episode form. I don't plan on dying a single time, but I will be posting the footage raw (with maybe a bit of intro/outro voice over), so you will know if/when I die.

My goal is "Kill All Shard Bosses" and as such, all other bosses will be cleared in whatever order I feel like. Cheesing will be happening, cool strats will be shown (especially the beginning), and I fully expect this will be done in a single attempt.

However, as I am rapidly approaching 4k hours in this game and am not interested in 1x solo PvE, the server settings I was planning to do are as follows:

1.75x loot
2x stack size
2x craft/refinement

2x Stygian shards (I hate rift incursion farming).
