News Bulletin: Update on our Sydney FWSim NYE2026 9PM Show
Following the recent tournament results, It's officially announced that the previously planned "Championship" thematic segment for the NYE2026 9PM Family Fireworks is now officially cancelled.
While our three beloved mascots will remain ambassadors for the FIFA event, they will be stepping down from their scheduled championship-themed roles. We appreciate the dedication and spirit they brought to the planning stages, and they will continue to be a part of our celebrations in a new, festive capacity.
A New Direction: The "Golden City" and Bluey Inspiration
Looking ahead, I'm excited to announce that the search for a new theme is officially underway. Our creative team is pivoting toward a concept that embodies the spirit of our "Golden City".
We are thrilled to share that we are seeking inspiration from the latest Bluey film to help shape our new 9PM spectacular. We believe that capturing the warmth, heart, and imagination found in the world of Bluey is the perfect way to unite our community for a truly memorable New Year’s Eve.
We invite the public to stay tuned for further updates as we develop this fresh, uplifting vision for our fireworks display.

Guys, I´ve downloaded the Latest version of FWsim, and now, bengal flames are more small and with less glowing area. Now I recreated the Real lighting structure of the Bridge. What do you think?
Our Sydney FWSim NYE 2026 - 2027 Show has their Official Artwork for celebrating 50 years of the event since it´s begginning in 1976. Representing a City that celebrates half-century of a NYE tradition, involving colors from pink, blue and gold.
The 9pm Family Fireworks for our NYE 2026 - 27: "Golden City" will tribute the FIFA 2026 World Cup Hosted in Mexico, USA, and Canada, with the Sub-Theme "Championship"
Trionda Shell Effects will sparkle in the sky with Tones of Red, Blue and Green during the show.
The Sydney Eye Tower will be part of the show for the 1st Time Since NYE 1996 - 1997 (Celebrating 30 years since it was part of NYE) and The 2000 Olympics closing ceremony, firing fireworks during the 9pm Countdown and shows as 1 more "Drone" and Rooftop so the Harbour will still have protagonism for Midnight. I´m planning to make an original show for the Brisbane Riverfire for the 1st time ever.
It´s a 20-minute show similar to Sydney NYE to mark the start or end of the Brisbane Festival every year. There´s only 1 show held after 8pm AEST, using the Story Bridge, City Buildings and barges in the River using some other bridges as part of the show

I´ll probably include a Tribute to a Colombian singer that passed away on January 10th after a terrible plane crash: Yeison Jiménez
We made it! After a year filled with technical hurdles, both shows for this December 31st are finally live.
I’ll be honest: this was my third and final attempt of 2025. After losing two entire projects to PC failures earlier this year, history almost repeated itself today. I managed to save the final render and close the project just seconds before my computer suffered a total crash. It was a sign that the show had to go on!
I want to say a massive thank you to everyone ,specially @JRSVARIETIESCHANNEL and @mryan175 for your kind words and the good luck you sent my way. Your support was the fuel I needed to keep going when the hardware was failing and the clock for Sydney was running out.
What’s in store for this year?
A return to the classic Sydney pop-medley tradition—my personal take on the celebration.
The debut of the "Golden Wall": a massive 6-part waterfall sequence inspired by the iconic 2005 choreography.
High-energy cinematic vibes and hits that will light up the harbor.
Thank you for joining me on this technical odyssey. Now that the videos are safely published, I’m finally stepping away to recharge and celebrate. Enjoy the shows, and have a spectacular start to the year!
