Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. I had a great day so far. Went and worked out with my wife, then went to brunch with my son. Had a nice conversation with my dad as well. I definitely miss him.
After brunch, we went to the comic book store and I got this fun issue. It's not a personal "grail" of mine or anything but it is PEAK 90's and I love John Byrne's artwork. Some good stuff is coming out in the world of comics. I definitely recommend "If Destruction Be Our Lot." It's published by Image Comics and is about robots and existential dread. :)
As for a new video, well I've completed the B-Roll to a PC case from darkFlash I'll be reviewing. They sent it to me, so I want to get that done before anything else. They also sent me a PSU, which is cool. Other than that I've been working on acquiring some older PC stuff that are considered milestones, and I plan on making videos for those as well.

Have you heard of CQDIMM RAM?
High capacity AND fast memory? Will it even matter what with the memory crisis going on? I wonder if needing only 2 sticks to get to higher capacities will help the consumer at all to get sought after RAM? I'm interested in this and I feel we'll learn more about it at #Computex2026

We're nearly a month into the new year. CES was semi-interesting to me: some good case releases from various brands, new monitors employing new tech. I'm personally excited for the ASUS PG32UCDM (Gen 3) 4k OLED display.
AMD also released the 9850X3D, a marginally better performing CPU for only $20 more than the 9800X3D; HOWEVER, its 4% performance increase comes at the cost of around a 20% power/heat increase, which isn't ideal IMO.
Is there anything in the tech world piquing your interest at the moment? Are you saving up for anything? Let me know! If it's something off my radar, I'll pick it up and give a review.

The #strugglebus is well on its way down the road. Primary footage shot and I'm now editing and doing all the b-roll things needed to bring you a good video. Work and life has been hectic, so I've just not had the energy to get it done as fast as I'd like, but I am plugging away and hope to have it done this week. If I could make this channel a full time gig, I know I could dedicate the energy and time needed to make it blast off, but for now it's still as I can get to it.
