Heyy Everyone! I hope you all the mamas your Mother’s Day weekend!

Zay had an out of town tournament! We didn’t get home until midnight last night 😭 but he won the championship. And received the game ball for his outstanding performance while pitching on Saturday!

But I am TIREDDDDD! So I won’t be live tonight. I’m hopping on zoom with the academy for a bit and then going to BED 😭 Hooefully I’ll be back on next Monday!

This hoodie design is a perfect example of what happens when you truly understand your embroidery software. On Monday’s live Zoom inside the Angel B. Academy, we broke down exactly how to create designs like this step-by-step.

Inside the session we covered:
🧵 Using lower-density fill stitches to create that smooth textured look
🧵 Adding a clean satin border to make the letters pop
🧵 Pulling puzzle piece shapes from the software library
🧵 Converting shapes and images into actual embroidery stitches
🧵 And merging elements together to build a complete design from scratch

Three weeks ago, I launched The Angel B. Academy.
And I want to share something I haven’t fully put into words yet 🤍

The acronym ABA wasn’t chosen by accident.

Three years ago, my youngest was diagnosed with autism. Those early days were heavy, overwhelming, and honestly… scary. We jumped in headfirst and were aggressive with therapy right from the start. For a full year, he was in ABA therapy almost five days a week.

If you’ve walked this journey, you know how much courage that takes.

ABA therapy changed everything for us.
It gave my son tools. It gave us hope. It gave us direction when we felt completely lost. And over the years, we’ve heard the same thing from parents of adults with autism, and even autistic adults themselves… that early, consistent, aggressive therapy was the game changer.

So when I launched my Academy under the name Angel B., the acronym ABA just… fit. Instantly. Perfectly.

Angel B. Academy is about growth.
It’s about learning, support, patience, consistency, and believing in potential, even when the road feels hard.

Today, I get to pour that same passion into something new: helping other creatives and crafters master their skills, build confidence, and learn how to monetize their talents. Teaching. Encouraging. Breaking things down step by step. Helping others grow, just like I’ve watched my son grow.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do.

Angel B. Academy isn’t just a business to me.
It’s purpose. It’s heart. And it’s a full-circle moment I’ll never take for granted ♥️💙💜💛

Thank you for every single level of support shown to me throughout these years!
