Here is the General Dynamics Advanced Recon Vehicle-30 (ARV-30) - A candidate to replace the LAV-25.
GD will be building three prototypes for the Marine Corps to test - The ARV-30, ARV-C4/UAS, and ARV-L.
The ARV-30 comes with a 30mm cannon, the same one that is on the ACV-30. There are also sensors and cameras around the vehicle to give Marines inside much better situational awareness than was on the LAV. Other notes are that the trim vane (the thing that comes up to help push through water) folds out. There are also ladder rungs and steps to get to the top of the vic.

USS Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group and the 31st MEU have arrived in the CENTCOM AO. They arrived yesterday, which was just luck on our part that we also released this video yesterday on what a MEU brings to a fight. The short answer is a lot, the long answer gets into Stand in Forces, EABO, and what the Marines have been preparing for under Force Design 2030 changes.
