Hi π in this post I wanted to show the shape of #seismic#gusset_plate.Be careful that seismic gusset plate will have trapezoidal shape not square not rectangular.
In of support in joist decks due to huge shear we use of #edka_rebar or #otka_rebar.its a bit hard to execute that. 1.5 meter long is enough for this rebar. Does anyone has idea ?

Hi π what you are seeing is a concrete beam stirrup.what I want to focus on is executing of 135 degree hook in both end. Be careful that a beam couldn't have acceptable performance in earthquake with 90 degree hook.
π what you're seeing in this picture is WALL POST. we need to restrain our walls in earthquake movements. this is actually practical way . Bricks or blocks will set into these channels. I will share a whole post about this topic soon.
