People always ask why I decided to compete in bodybuilding and it's something I asked myself. There always has to be a strong enough WHY to the goal
The honest answer is it was never really about the stage. Of course I wanted to win and do myself proud but...
It was about proving something to myself that the old version of me never believed was possible. Finding the next mountain to climb after ultramarathon, triathlon and half marathons. And showing anyone watching that no matter where you're starting from you can go and do something extraordinary.
I was that lad in the blue tracksuit. Overweight, unhappy, not living anywhere close to the life I wanted.
Now I compete on bodybuilding stages and coach men to rebuild their lives the same way I rebuilt mine.
If I can turn it around, so can you. That's not a motivational quote or some shite. That's just what I've lived ๐
Doors are open. Application link in bio if you're ready. ๐ค
I don't have the words for what it felt like to stand on that stage.
From 20 stone. From a man who didn't want to be here some days. From a call centre and working jobs I hated, to becoming a coach and dare I say now a competitive bodybuilder...
I came 4th and I didn't look out of place for a single second. That means everything to me.
First and foremost grateful to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ๐
To everyone who has supported me throughout this journey the messages, the check ins, the people who showed up consistently and genuinely cared thank you.
From the bottom of my heart. You made this better than I ever expected it to be and I won't forget it.
Special mention to @kylebacon94 for every single thing. Couldn't have done this without you mate. ๐ค
Back on stage May 30th at IBFA Liverpool. @ibfa_liverpool_acb_classic @ibfa_uk
Big mention to @ultraflexgymdurham the staff, kit, people and environment are second to none it is a privilege to call it home โค๏ธ
One more show and then the focus shifts to the off season ๐
If this journey has shown you what's possible this is exactly what I help other men build. Link in bio if you're ready to start yours. ๐ค
Not everyone around you is going to understand when you decide to change.
And that's fine. They're used to the old version of you. The one built on bad habits. The one who didn't push back.
First they notice something's different.
Then they see the results.
Then they're asking how you're doing it.
Some people will come with you on that journey.
Some won't.
You cannot force the people around you to change just because you've decided to.
Doesn't work like that.
What you can control is your environment. Who's in the room. What you're consuming. What you're tolerating. Your environment will either build you or hold you back.
Choose accordingly.
The only person who needs to understand your journey at the start is you. ๐ค
Still a couple tricks up the sleeve from @kylebacon94 for the backend of the week before the show Saturday ๐ช
This look is on one scoop of whey, 50g blueberries and some turbopump from @engineeredmuscleuk ๐๐ so once some carbs start going in tomorrow and some peakmax from @strom_sports_nutrition we should be looking pretty good ๐
17 weeks ago I officially announced this...Saturday my first time on stage arrives...๐
To everyone who has helped and encouraged me thank you, I hope I do you proud ๐

THE PODCAST WILL RETURN FROM JUNE 22ND ๐๏ธ
Had a few messages asking about it appreciate everyone who's reached out.
I've got some brilliant guests lined up. But right now there's only one thing that gets my full attention.
19 days out from my first ever bodybuilding show. Three more shows after it.
Then 70 miles along Hadrian's Wall on June 13th for Mind charity.
Prep content continues. The journey keeps getting documented.
But the podcast takes a back seat until the dust settles.
June 22nd. We'll be back. ๐ค

2024 with all the excuses in the world as to why I couldn't look after my health or physique as a coach
2026 with three times the workload, one more new business coming soon to manage, a bodybuilding prep, and not missing a beat.
Very different shape...
I was the coach a couple years ago who would tell myself I don't have the time anymore.
Don't let yourself make the same mistakes...
Unsure how to sort it out?
DM me the word COACH and Iโll be in touch ๐ค

This is my result.
Not a client. Me.
I lost over 60lbs. Became a qualified PT, nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach.
Completed half marathons, triathlon and ultramarathons.
And in 30 days I step on a bodybuilding stage for the first time in my life.
I was the fat lad on that beach who hated photos, avoided mirrors and thought confidence was for other people.
Now I help other men do exactly what I did.
Not with generic plans. Not with 8 week shreds. With a proper system built around their real life.
If you want to make a start on your own transformation apply via the link in my bio.
Or DM me the word READY and we'll have a chat ๐ค

This isnโt a look at me post
This is a look what can happen when you stop fannying about kinda post ๐
I was the lad who couldnโt stick to anything...
Start Monday
Fall off Friday
Repeat that for years
Booze
Blame genetics
Feel sorry for myself
No structure
No standards
No belief in myself
This didnโt come from motivation but more about wanting more from me and my life.
It came from doing the basics over and over again when I didnโt feel like it
Training when I was tired
Eating properly when I couldnโt be arsed
Keeping promises to myself when no one was watching
People think this is extreme
Utter shite
Whatโs extreme is spending years stuck in the same place and calling it normal or just accepting been a fat bastard
Iโm 34 days out from stepping on stage for the first time
But this isnโt about bodybuilding
Itโs about proving to yourself you can actually follow something through
If youโre one of those lads whoโs sick of starting again
Message me "START" ๐ค
