One of the comments on my Peak Design Shorts asked how the colors from the new Travel line compare with the Roller Pro, so I stopped by the Peak Design store in San Francisco and took a few side-by-side photos.
In person, the color pairings are interesting:
The Sage 20L Travel Backpack and Sage Roller Pro are a unique matching set if you’re looking for something different from the traditional black backpack and luggage.
Stone gives the setup a lighter, more neutral look. It pairs really nicely with Sage if you want something calm and outdoorsy, but not fully monochrome.
Eclipse is probably the boldest option. It has that burgundy/plum tone that gives the setup more personality, especially when paired with Stone or Sage.
Black is still the safest and most classic option, especially if you want your roller to match almost anything.

My quick take:
Sage + Sage = cleanest matching set
Stone + Sage = best soft travel vibe
Stone + Eclipse = most interesting contrast
Black + anything = safest choice
Also, shoutout to the team at the Peak Design San Francisco store. They were super kind and helpful while I was checking everything out.
Which combo looks best to you?

Travel day in Ginza, Tokyo 🇯🇵
While exploring the city, I stopped by the Peak Design store and had such a great experience. The team there was amazing, super kind, helpful, and genuinely fun to talk with. It’s always cool visiting a brand in person, but even better when the people make the visit feel memorable.
I also got to check out the Sage Roller Pro and the Stone Travel Weekender 25L together. Both look really clean, and seeing both colors up close definitely hits different than just looking online.
Ginza is already a beautiful place to wander, but this was a fun little travel gear stop along the way.
Would you travel with the Roller Pro, the Weekender 25L, or both?
