Well… I accidentally scheduled today’s video for midnight instead of 6 PM. 😆
But after spending weeks working on it, maybe that’s fitting.
This one is a little different than my usual content anyway.
It starts with my first deer rifle, a Remington 700 .243, but it isn’t really a rifle review.
It’s about the memories we attach to the gear we carry and the question of whether changing something means losing part of what made it special to begin with.

This one is a little different.
Yes, it’s my first impressions review of the all-new 2026 Savage 110 Core Predator in 6mm Creedmoor… but honestly, it turned into something a lot more personal than I originally planned.
Over the years I’ve shot some incredibly accurate Savage rifles — and also some that made me question whether I could fully trust the company long term.
So this video became less about “here are the specs” and more about the complicated relationship a lot of shooters develop with certain brands over time.
Can Savage win me back?
