What did everyone think of the new House of the Dragon episode? I’d probably give it a 6.5/10. Honestly, I think I might have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t read Fire & Blood. Some of the source material changes felt pretty unnecessary to me.
Lohar was easily the weakest part of the episode, IMO. That said, Roddy the Ruin’s introduction was EPIC, and Lord Hightower already seems like he could be a really interesting addition.

During the Dance of the Dragons, while the realm tore itself apart, one man turned the Sunset Sea into a nightmare. Coastal villages burned, the western lords were helpless to stop him, and for a brief moment the Ironborn feared him more than the dragons themselves.
Honestly one of the wildest figures in ASOIAF history.
