Dr. Maurer was an incredible asset to the urticaria community. His research and the education that he so openly and enthusiastically shared impacted so many lives.
I felt this loss deeply as I'm sure many of you have.
It was a tragic loss, but he was a catalyst for furthering research and treatment, and I'm sure his work will continue through his team and those he inspired.
