Linda earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Lamar University. She brings more than 21 years of experience as a Drug Treatment Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and has spent the last five years serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Her specialized training includes:

✨ Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner

Linda also previously served as the Substance Abuse Counseling Program Coordinator at Lamar State College–Port Arthur and is now the Owner of HigherView Counseling & Consulting, where she is committed to helping individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive.

Healing isn’t measured by the absence of sadness. It’s measured by how much room life has to grow around it. 🌿

Healing isn’t about waking up one day and never feeling pain again. It’s about slowly creating a life that becomes bigger than the hurt.

There may still be moments of grief, loneliness, disappointment, or uncertainty—but over time, those moments no longer define your entire story. You begin to laugh again. You rediscover your passions. You build meaningful relationships. You pursue your purpose. Life starts growing around the places that once felt broken.
