SRI SATHYA CHANDI MANDALI
Shree Gurubhyo Namaha 🙏
On the occasion of auspicious guru purnima, we are blessed to share about our parapara guru ‘Mantra Murti’ HH Śrī Bhuvanānandanātha, also known as Krishnamoorthy Shastrigal. He was a reputed Veda Vidvan and a Shastra exponent . He was the “Manthra Guru” to Jagadguru Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal (Paramacharya) of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam at the time of his initiation. HH Paramacharya himself honoured him with the title of “Mantra Murti”.
His entire life was dedicated to Adhyayana, Upasana and Adhyapana of the Shastras and Srividyamarga. He spent the later part of his life in service of his Guru Sri Divyaanandhanaatha, and took to aapat sannyasa. His Gurubhakti was also reflected in the manner in which he performed the rites laid down by the Srividya Tantras after his Guru attained Sripura sayujya. His great devotion prompted him to raise an imposing Adhishthaana Aalayam in Valangaimaan for his Guru wherein he installed a Shivalinga.
He attained Sripura Sayujya on 26th January 1949. Heeding to his will, his Adhishtaanam also was built adjacent to his Guru in the same temple to enable the peerless preceptor and the devoted disciple an eternal company not only in the hoary Gurumandala but also in the Bhumandala.

SRI SATHYA CHANDI MANDALI
Sree matrae namaha,
Today is the 92nd jayanthi of my beloved guru matha Shri Satyamba :
Born in aashada masam hastha nakshatram (07-08-1932), Shri Guru Satyambika was an
accomplished soul and an embodiment of fortitude and tenacity. The human mind tends to find reasons not to pursue something and easily give up when difficulties arise. But there was someone who could rise above all challenges of life with a vibrant smile that expressed her steadfast faith in the Goddess Supreme.
According to Shri Guru, the holiest deity was Simhavaahini and the holiest naama was ‘Durge’. Nevertheless, she personified Goddess Durga herself. We might come across many Gurus in our life. But we receive motherly nurturing and care from a very few of them. That is why Shri Guru was fondly addressed as Guru Amma by her sishyaas. As sishyaas approached her, she welcomed them with warmth and taught them with utmost dedication. She was an ideal Guru who could quickly decipher the potential of her sishyaas and mould them accordingly. At the same time, she also would respect her sishyaas and build a personal bonding with each of them. In today’s world which is only about money, she gave her heart and soul into teaching diverse concepts, scripts and aspects of srividya and expected nothing but for sincerity in return.
On the other hand, she never gave up on her sadhana and possessed a myriad of mantra siddhis.
Our Guru Amma was a lady of strength and unparalleled devotion. She went for work with one of the lethal diseases so that she could please her simhavaahini everyday. One-pointedness was a way of life for Shri Guru Satyambika and that one goal was to reach the Chintamani Gruha, the abode of Goddess Supreme. Anything that came in the way as a physical, social or financial barrier were trivial to her eyes. The focus and conviction with which she chanted every verse of Devi Mahatmayam or Soundarya Lahari are proof of that. We admire some people. We empathize with some people. But not very often do we fall at the feet of someone whom we do not know. Such was the aura of Guru Amma which was filled with the powers of her sadhana. When our whimsical mind tends to give up or worry on something, let us recall the immortal and radiant soul of our Shri Guru in the form of a divine mother in yellow saree with a forehead smeared with kumkum and those eyes which emanate only compassion and optimism. Though she merged with the simhavahini on vasantha panchami, maka masam (14-02-2013), she is certainly with us every moment to guide us in all walks of life.

SRI SATHYA CHANDI MANDALI
Aradhana Day of Shri Bhuvanaanandanatha 🙏
Brahmasri Krishnamoorthy Saastry alias Krishna Sastrigal was the son of Sri Bhaskara Saastry & Smt. Lakshmi Ammal of Tipparaajapuram Near Valangaimaan, Kumbhakonam. He is both a reputed Samskrit & Vedic Scholar. He & his wife Smt. Meenaakshi Ammal of Soolamangalam, Thiruvaaroor got Srividya Poornabhisheka Deeksha from Sri Divyaanandanaatha of Valangaiman and became very famous as Sri Bhuvanaanandanatha the Deeksha naama conferred on him. He stayed for about 7 years at Shankara Mutt, Kumbhakonam and was the “Manthra Guru” to Jagadguru Sri Sri Sankaraachaarya (Paramacharya) of Kanchi Kaamakoti Peetam when the Achaarya was young. He was honoured with the title of “Mantra Moorty”.
He did “Tapasya” for 8 years at Oottuppaarai, Kerala & Gwalior and he performed miracles spontaneously. He spent his later portion of his life in doing Sisroosha (service) & seva to his Guru Divyaanandanaatha. At his guru’s demise he performed the last rites in a fitting manner worthy of a great Srividya Upaasaka & Guru as laid down in the scriptures. He showed his devotion & high regard for his Guru by constructing an imposing *Adhishtaana Aalayam (Temple) at his Samaadhi in Valangaiman and installed Siva Linga there. He lived a life of an ascetic and was personally looking after the Temple doing poojaas to the Adhishtaanam. He attained Sripura Sayujya in the year “Sarvadhaari”, Uttharaayanam, Makara (Thai) Maasam, Sukla Paksha Navami (passed away on 26-1-1949). His Adhishtaanam also was built near his Guru in the same Temple.
