We had to take a picture with Pig Pen because there was no line to meet him, so we just had to say hello. We rode Knott’s Berry Tales and the Sky Cabin before deciding to head out early. As we were leaving, all of the lines for food wrapped around each of the buildings. One guest commented that they waited two hours for a frozen drink. That was our queue to exit.

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant remains the best theme park chicken around. For the price, you get a lot here. The fried chicken was right out the fryer and the chicken soup is always the star of the meal. One minor caveat, the soup bowl is now a small cup and the salad portion has also shrunk a bit. But the biggest disappointment is the delicious biscuits with butter and boysenberry jam. They bring two for each person at the table and they up-charge if you ask for more. Other than that, it was a delightful meal with a knowledgeable server, plus the passport savings was also nice. The fried chicken pieces here are huge, so you will not leave hungry. We always take home a big breast as leftovers. This place gets a thumbs up from me.

Knott’s Berry Farm, in this day and age, it is beyond time to address your parking nightmares. This is ridiculous. Build a foot bridge or continue the pedestrian underpass so your arriving guests don’t impact incoming vehicle traffic.

Just enjoyed the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. It provides really great fan service to those who have enjoyed the video games. It has lots of easter eggs and surprises from other Mario game genres as well. Also, Bowser is rad. What a lovable villain.
