Hi,
My name is Eleonora and I live in The Hague in The Netherlands.
I enjoy walking in the city and nature.
When I feel tired or irritated I go for a walk.
This helps me change my mood, to reflect myself, to improve my breath.
There are so many positive advantages of walking and I will share this experience with you.
Sometimes we don’t have time or room to go for a walk.
Then just watching someone walk in a new area can help change how we feel and give us inspiration.
My films are a small gift to you.
Please take it and enjoy.
Enjoy today and every day!:)
Greetings,
Eleonora

Eleonora's walks

Hello, my friends! 🌷

Today, Bloemencorso is taking place in Westland, and it reminded me of this lovely memory from another flower parade I visited two years ago.

People were sitting along the waterfront, enjoying the sunshine and watching the beautifully decorated flower boats glide by. 🌸⛵ It was such a joyful and relaxing atmosphere.

If you missed this video when it was first published, I'd love to share it with you again today.

Have you ever visited a Bloemencorso in the Netherlands?

Today is Vlaggetjesdag in Scheveningen! 🎏

This traditional Dutch "Flag Day" celebrates the arrival of the new herring season and the town's maritime heritage.

Take a relaxing walk through Scheveningen with me!

Eleonora's walks

Good morning everyone! ☀️😊

What a beautiful day here in The Hague! The temperature has finally decided to cooperate, and it actually feels like summer is on its way. 😄

Lately, I've been testing a new 360° camera and recording some 360 videos. If you're not familiar with them, a 360 video lets you look around in every direction while watching—left, right, up, and down—as if you were standing there with me.

I know that for those of you who watch my videos on TV, this format may be a little less exciting, since it's harder to interact with the view. Don't worry though—I will continue making regular walking and cycling videos as well. 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️

The idea came to me during our trip to Greece. So many times I looked around and thought: "There is so much beauty here, and only a small part of it fits into the frame!" That's why I decided to experiment with 360 videos and see if I can share a bit more of the experience with you.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunshine if you have some! ☀️🌷

Eleonora's walks

I’m currently on vacation and enjoying a different rhythm for a while 🌿
I’ll still be filming during this time, but next week there will probably be no new uploads on my channel because I may not have enough time to edit and publish videos.
After my latest video “No Social Media This May?”, it feels interesting to spend a little more time away from the online world too 😊
Wishing you a peaceful week, beautiful moments and some time to slow down.
See you soon on Eleonora’s walks❤️

Eleonora's walks

This Easter feels gentle, calm, and full of little beautiful moments 🌿
Spring is truly in the air — leaves are unfolding, the sun is shining brighter, and everything is slowly coming back to life. There’s a quiet kind of magic in these days… soft light, fresh air, and that sense of a new beginning.
Sharing a few peaceful snapshots from this time 🌸

Eleonora's walks

Easter is slowly approaching 🌿And even if you’re not religious, this time of year can feel like a quiet invitation… to pause, to reflect, to notice what’s happening inside.

One of the very few TV programs I still make space for is The Passion, broadcast on NPO every year on Thursday at 20:30.

It’s a live musical retelling of the final days of Jesus — but shown in a very human, modern way, right in the streets of a Dutch city. People walk together, sing together, and for a moment, the story becomes something close and real. Not just something religious, but something about love, loss, hope, and being human.

It’s broadcast on a Thursday because it connects to the days just before Easter — a time of reflection, whatever you believe (or don’t believe).

If you feel like slowing down this evening, maybe this is something worth watching.

And if you’d rather stay in a quieter, simpler space… I’m sharing a small moment: a rainy drive from Belgium to the Netherlands 🚗🌧️

Maybe that’s the connection.

Because life isn’t always bright and light. Sometimes it’s grey, quiet, a little heavy… and still meaningful in its own way.

If you feel like it, have a look at the video — I’ve added it below 👇

And whether you watch The Passion or just take a small pause today — I hope you find a moment to breathe, to feel, and to reconnect with something gentle inside you 🤍

Eleonora's walks

Old walks don’t age… right? 😉🌿

This is a March walk through Oude Rijswijk, filmed a while ago — on a bright, windy day when the sun was shining and the park was full of blossoming trees. The wind had its own plans, of course… but that’s part of the charm.

In a few weeks, the trees here will bloom again. You can already spot the first flowers bravely opening up. Spring always comes back — and so do good walks.

If you haven’t seen this one yet, maybe now is the perfect moment.
Come take a sunny (and slightly windy) stroll with me 🌸🍃

Eleonora's walks

Today in The Hague it’s grey again — calm, quiet, and very much a February kind of day. The air feels almost milky, soft and muted.

Yesterday I shared a reminder post with a video from the garden, and today it brought back memories of a rainy walk I recorded at the end of May.
Everything was so green back then — that deep, fresh green that only spring can bring.

If you feel like it, take a look and see for yourself.
Let me know if you enjoyed this rainy walk.

Wishing you a lovely day and a peaceful watch,

Eleonora's walks

Today in The Hague it’s a quiet, misty day.
The light is soft and muted, very different from summer. Everything feels slower and less colorful.

So I decided to share an older video today.
It was recorded on a warm spring day in Leeuwarden, with the camera staying still, sunlight in the garden, a light breeze, and birds in the background. Just a peaceful, simple moment.

If you’re in the mood for something warmer and calmer, this video might be a nice contrast to today’s weather.

Sometimes it’s good to pause and step into a different kind of light 🌿

Have a calm, light-filled day.

Greetings,
Eleonora
