I'm a Financial Controller. I know SQL is powerful but how can I get started?
The real challenge is moving beyond the basics and integrate it with our existing financial processes. Most courses provide comprehensive guidance to perform analysis. But what if our company does not provide access to a SQL database in the first place? Most courses out there teach us how to input data into SQLite, but not at scale. They offer pieces of the puzzle, but for those of us in Finance, piecing it all together isn’t our strong suit. As a result, we often revert back to our comfort zone: Excel.
