[ LAST PART OF MOVIE]
INT. POLICE HEADQUARTERS - MORNING]

[Visual: The Killer is sitting in a metal chair. The interrogation room cameras are ON. Red lights are blinking. Jiwon and Minjun stand across from him. The real Head Officer is watching from behind the glass.]

JIWON: (Leaning forward, her eyes sharp) "The game is over. Every camera in the city is watching you now. Tell us... why? Why did you kill all those innocent people?"

KILLER: (Looking at the camera with a creepy smile) "I wanted to show you that your technology is weak. I wanted to be the only ghost in a city full of lights. I planned everything. Every night, every death... it was my masterpiece."

MINJUN: (Crossing his arms, looking serious) "Is anyone with you? Did someone help you hide in the subway?"

KILLER: "No. I don't need help. I planned everything alone. I am the only Seoul Thief."

[The door opens. The Head Officer walks in. He looks at the Killer with deep anger.]

HEAD OFFICER: "You took many people's lives. You tried to steal our identities and our honor. But you failed. Now, justice will kill your freedom."

JIWON: "Tomorrow, we go to court. We will tell the whole city the truth."

[EXT. SEOUL DISTRICT COURT - THE NEXT DAY]

[Visual: A bright, sunny day. The courtroom is packed with reporters and families. Jiwon and Minjun are dressed in their best uniforms. They look young, professional, and proud.]

JUDGE: "Officers, do you have the evidence?"

[Jiwon stands up and opens her laptop. She plays the video from the server farm and shows the photos Minjun clicked with his professional camera. The photos clearly show the Killer's face and his secret lair.]

JIWON: "This man used technology to hide his crimes. But our eyes saw the truth."

JUDGE: (Looking at the Killer) "Do you agree with this evidence?"

KILLER: (Lowering his head, defeated) "Yes. It was me."

JUDGE: (Banging the gavel) "The final decision is made. For the murders of innocent people and police officers, the defendant is sentenced to death. He will remain in maximum security until the order is carried out."

[EXT. COURT HOUSE STEPS - AFTERNOON]

[Visual: The sun is setting over the beautiful Seoul skyline. People are cheering. The 'Death's Silence' is finally over. The Head Officer walks up to Jiwon and Minjun.]

HEAD OFFICER: "Thank you so much, both of you. You didn't just find a killer. You saved the reputation of this entire force."

JIWON: "We just did our job, Sir."

MINJUN: (Grinning) "And I didn't even cry! Well... maybe just a little bit when the gas started."

HEAD OFFICER: "You both did really well. You are heroes. Because of this, you will both receive high promotions very soon. Congratulations, Senior Investigators."

[Jiwon and Minjun look at each other and smile brightly.]

JIWON & MINJUN: "Welcome, Sir! And thank you!"

[Visual: They walk down the stairs together, side by side. Minjun tries to take a victory selfie, and Jiwon actually poses for it this time. The camera zooms out to show the peaceful city of Seoul.]

[2nd PART OF MOVIE]
[EXT. THE ROAD - 3:17 AM]
[Visual: Jiwon (Kim Sumera) stands over the smashed windshield of their car. She picks up the melted badge. The metal is still warm. Minjun is shivering, his handsome face covered in white chemical dust.]

MINJUN:
(Whispering, his voice shaking)
"If the Head Officer’s badge is here... and it’s melted... then who was the man who gave us the files this morning? Who was sitting in that big chair?"

JIWON:
(Eyes cold, looking into the dark woods)
"A thief. He didn't just steal the cameras, Minjun. He stole the station. He’s been watching us through the precinct’s own monitors since we left."

[Suddenly, the car’s radio clicks on by itself. Static... screech... The same nursery rhyme begins to play through the broken speakers, but this time, it’s a recording of Jiwon and Minjun’s own voices from 10 minutes ago.]

RADIO (Minjun's recorded voice):
"What if he kills us too?"

RADIO (Jiwon's recorded voice):
"Don't be afraid. Think positive."

MINJUN:
(Backing away from the car)
"He’s recording us? He’s playing our own deaths back to us? Jiwon, we have to run. Now!"

JIWON:
"No. If we run into the woods, we are on his territory. He wants us to panic. Minjun, look at the road. The fog is lifting."

[Visual: As the mist clears, they see it. Not one, but dozens of figures in yellow raincoats are standing at the edge of the tree line. They are all wearing the same cracked porcelain mask. They are perfectly still.]

MINJUN:
"There’s a whole army of them... Jiwon, you said think positive. Give me something positive right now!"

JIWON:
(Checking her last magazine)
"Positively? They aren't moving yet. That means they are waiting for a signal."

[EXT. THE ROAD - CONTINUOUS]
[One of the masked figures steps forward. He isn't holding a hook. He is holding a tablet. He presses a button, and the streetlights for three kilometers flick on at once, blinding Jiwon and Minjun.]

JIWON:
"Cover your eyes!"

[Under the bright lights, the 'Killer' speaks. His voice is deep, filtered through a modulator.]

THE THIEF:
"You were talented, Jiwon. And you were... lucky, Minjun. But the Seoul Thief doesn't take lives. We take identities. By tomorrow morning, 'Jiwon' and 'Minjun' will be seen on CCTV committing a robbery at the National Bank. The police will hunt you. Your names will be erased."

MINJUN:
(Suddenly standing tall, his fear turning into a strange, desperate bravado)
"You want my identity? Fine! But you're going to have to take my bad credit score and my unpaid parking tickets too! Jiwon, the extinguisher!"

JIWON:
"What?!"

MINJUN:
"The chemical dust! It’s reflective! If I spray it into the streetlights, it will create a wall of white. You can move in the shadows!"

JIWON:
(Smiling for the first time)
"Do it."

[Minjun screams a war cry and sprays the last of the fire extinguisher directly into the air. The white powder catches the overhead light, creating a blinding, sparkling curtain of white. The 'Thief' tries to look through his tablet, but the sensors are glitched by the dust.]

JIWON:
"Now!"

[Visual: Jiwon moves like a shadow through the white mist. She reaches the lead figure in three seconds. Crack. She disarms him with a spinning kick. Minjun follows behind, swinging his heavy camera bag like a flail, accidentally knocking two other masked men down.]

MINJUN:
"I’M BRAVE! I’M POSITIVELY BRAVE!"

[They break through the line of figures and sprint toward an old, abandoned subway entrance at the end of the road.]

[INT. ABANDONED SUBWAY STATION - 3:15 AM]
[They slide down the dead escalator and slam the iron gate shut. They are in total darkness again.]

JIWON:
(Breathing hard, leaning against the gate)
"We have four hours until the sun comes up. If we can get to the city and find the real Head Officer, we can stop the broadcast."

MINJUN:
(Slumping to the floor, panting)
"Jiwon... look at your arm."

[Visual: On Jiwon’s jacket is a small, glowing red sticker. A GPS tracker.]

JIWON:
"He put it on me during the fight."

[From the top of the escalator, they hear the sound of the iron gate being pulled. Creeeeeak. The nursery rhyme starts again, echoing through the empty tiled tunnels.]

MINJUN:
"Okay. New plan. We don't think positive. We think fast."[

[INT. THE SECRET SERVER FARM - 4:00 AM]

[Visual: A cold, blue-lit room filled with thousands of blinking computer towers. In the very center of the room, there are three glass cages. Jiwon and Minjun run toward them.]

MINJUN: "Jiwon, look! It’s the Head Officer! And the other missing police!"

[The real Head Officer is inside the cage. He looks tired but alive. He sees them and bangs on the glass.]

HEAD OFFICER: "Jiwon! Minjun! Watch out! He’s right behind—"

[Visual: A shadow falls over them. The Killer in the yellow raincoat swings his metal hook, but Jiwon is ready. She uses a high kick to knock the hook away. Minjun jumps on the Killer's back, holding him tight.]

MINJUN: "I’ve got him! Jiwon, the handcuffs! Hurry!"

[Jiwon clicks the handcuffs onto the Killer’s wrists. She rips off his porcelain mask. It is a man they have never seen—a former tech genius who was fired from the police force years ago. The 'Ghost Signal' finally dies. The lights in the server room turn to a normal white.]

[EXT. THE GHOST DISTRICT - NIGHT] [STARTING OF THE MOVIE]

Visual: A police officer is walking alone. The area is very quiet. No cars. No people. He is breathing hard. He is very scared. He holds his gun, but his hand is shaking. He looks at his watch. The numbers flicker and stop at 3:00 AM.

OFFICER: (Whispering)
"Is anyone there? I know you're hiding!"

Suddenly, a shadow moves behind a tree. The officer turns quickly, but he is too slow. A dark figure in a long raincoat appears. The screen goes black. We only hear a loud scream.

[INT. POLICE STATION - DAY]

The Head Officer is very angry. He slams his hand on the desk. On the wall, there are photos of three police officers who died.

HEAD OFFICER: "Three officers! All killed in one week! And the cameras? Every time the killer comes, the footage turns off. It is like a ghost!"

He looks at two people in the corner: JIWON and MINJUN. Jiwon is brave and talented. Minjun is her partner. He looks a little scared.

HEAD OFFICER: "Jiwon, you are the best. You are confident and brave. You take this case. And take Minjun with you."

MINJUN: (Looking worried)
"Sir? Me? But... that area is very spooky. Maybe we should send a robot?"

JIWON: (Standing up)
"He will be fine, Sir. I will watch him."

[INT. PRIVATE OFFICE - LATER]

Jiwon and Minjun are alone. Jiwon opens her laptop. She shows a video to Minjun. On the screen, many interviewers are asking questions.

REPORTER (on video): "Who is this killer? Is it a person or a ghost? Will the police find them?"

JIWON: (Closing the laptop)
"See? Everyone is asking: Who is this person? We have to be serious now. People are dying."

MINJUN: "I think it’s a ghost. Humans cannot disappear like that."

JIWON: (A little frustrated)
"It is not a ghost! Maybe it is you that is killing people because you talk too much!"

MINJUN: (Shocked)
"Me?! I am too scared to even kill a bug!"

JIWON: (In serious mode)
"It is not fun, Minjun. We have to save people."

MINJUN: "I'm scared..."

Jiwon looks at him with sharp eyes. Minjun quickly changes his face. He gives a big thumbs up.

MINJUN: "I... I said I'm brave! Look at my thumb! It's a brave thumb!"

JIWON: (A small smile)
"Okay. It's final. We are going to that area tonight to find the killer."

MINJUN: "What if he kills us too?"

JIWON: "Don't be afraid. Think positive. We will handle it."

MINJUN: (Feeling more confident)
"Yes. We can do it! Let's go!"




[EXT. THE GHOST DISTRICT - 2:45 AM]
The unmarked police car moves slowly. There are no streetlights here. The trees are tall and twisted, like giants watching the road. The fog is so thick that the headlights can only see two meters ahead.

JIWON: (Driving slowly, her eyes sharp)
"Keep your eyes open, Minjun. This is the spot. This is where the last patrol team disappeared."

MINJUN: (Checking his flashlight every five seconds)
"I’m looking! I’m looking so hard my eyes hurt. But Jiwon... it’s too quiet. Even the wind sounds like it’s whispering 'run away.'"

JIWON: "Don’t listen to the wind. Listen for footsteps. The killer always strikes at 3:00 AM. That is the 'Dead Zone' time."

[Suddenly, the car's engine coughs. Sputter. Sputter. The dashboard lights flicker and die. The car rolls to a stop in the middle of the dark road.]

MINJUN: (Voice trembling)
"Uh... Jiwon? Why did the car stop? Did you turn it off? Please tell me you turned it off for a tactical reason."

JIWON: (Trying to turn the key, but nothing happens)
"The battery is dead. But it was full when we left."

MINJUN: (Whining)
"See?! This is what I meant! It’s a ghost! Ghosts eat car batteries for breakfast!"

[EXT. THE ROAD - 2:55 AM]
They step out of the car. The cold air hits their faces. Jiwon holds her gun firmly. Minjun holds a heavy camera and a fire extinguisher, looking like a scared turtle.

JIWON: "Check the CCTV pole over there. The Head Officer said it turns off by itself."

[They walk toward a tall metal pole. Jiwon shines her light on the base. She finds a small, black electronic box attached to the wires. It has a blinking red light.]

JIWON: "It's not a ghost, Minjun. It's a signal jammer. Someone is manually cutting the feed. This person is a pro."

MINJUN: "If he’s a pro, he’s probably watching us right now on his own screen. Maybe we should wave? Say hi? Maybe he’ll go home?"

JIWON: (Frustrated)
"Be serious! Look at your watch. What time is it?"

[Minjun lifts his wrist. The digital numbers on his watch are glitching. 88:88... 00:00... Then it stops.]

MINJUN: "It's... it's 3:00 AM."

[EXT. THE ROAD - 3:00 AM]
[Visual: A low, metallic sound rings out from the darkness. Cling... Cling... Cling... It sounds like someone is dragging a heavy chain behind them.]

JIWON: "Get behind me. Now."

[From the fog, a figure appears. He is tall and wears a tattered, dark yellow raincoat. On his face is a cracked white porcelain mask. He is holding a long, jagged iron hook.]

MINJUN: (Terrified)
"Jiwon! He’s huge! And that mask is definitely not from a friendly party!"

JIWON: "POLICE! STOP RIGHT THERE! PUT THE WEAPON DOWN!"

[The killer doesn't stop. He tilts his head to the side, looking at them. He starts to hum a very slow, creepy nursery rhyme. He moves toward them, his boots thumping loudly on the asphalt.]

JIWON: "I said STOP!"

[The killer suddenly sprints—not like a human, but with a strange, jerky speed. He swings the heavy hook toward Jiwon’s head.]

JIWON: "DUCK!"

[Jiwon slides under the swing and kicks the killer’s leg, but he feels like solid stone. He doesn't fall. He turns toward Minjun.]

MINJUN: "Wait! Wait! I have a family! I have a cat! I haven't even finished my ramen!"

[The killer raises the hook. Minjun panics. He remembers Jiwon’s words: 'Think positive.' He screams and pulls the pin on the fire extinguisher.]

MINJUN: "TAKE THIS! POSITIVE VIBES!"

[Visual: A massive explosion of white powder hits the killer in the face. The killer stumbles back, blinded by the chemicals. Jiwon jumps up and delivers a powerful roundhouse kick to his chest.]

JIWON: "Nice job, Minjun! Run to the car! We need the backup radio!"

[They run, but when they reach the car, the windshield is smashed. Inside the car, on the dashboard, is a melted police badge. The name on it is: Head Officer.]

MINJUN: (Gasping for air)
"Jiwon... the Head Officer sent us here. But his badge is... here. If his badge is here... then who is in the office?"

JIWON: (Eyes widening as she realizes the trap)
"He didn't give us this case to solve it. He gave it to us so we would disappear too."
