This channel started out like the your junk drawer in your kitchen did. Random things collected with uselessness, taking up space and eventually you realized it has/had no purpose. Thanks to many comments and support of my subscribers, I have found my center in continuing to create meaningful and useful educational content. I made this desktop cookie jar terrarium recently using only wild materials I gathered from my own property. Not bad for $6. 4 different moss and plant types along with a few bulb shaped mushrooms that shoot spore dust out the tops. It sits under my DIY frying pan grow light. All it needs is a power outlet and never needs to be watered. I give credit to SerpaDesign for inspiring this project. This is a message to all my followers. I am excited to announce that I have set up a merch shop. It will be available soon and eventually with more designs to choose from. What you can expect to see is my own unique ideas that others can connect with. I have been sitting on this idea for a while and was unsure if I wanted to take this route. I realized that my creativity doesn't have to stop at creating video content. I want to extend simple ideas that can be shared and adopted on a more individual and personal level. Hey everyone! To all my subs looking for plant related content, there will be plenty more to come. Recently I have been posting some bacterial related things because I sorta fell down that rabbit hole. The next video coming is part 2 of plant reaching. There will be 2 more bacteria related videos after that. I may do a 3rd if I need to address anything else, but I have no plans for it as of now. This is not turning into a bacteria growing channel, but it does have relation and relevance. After all, I still am "Growing" answers.

This video has recently been deemed unsuitable for a general audience. Basically meaning it is age restricted to 18+ years old. This means it has limited/no ads. Even after an appeal it is still considered unsuitable by YouTube. I have read the community guidelines and specifically for age restriction. It does not fall into any category that would be considered only for a mature audience. While this video specifically being limited does not do much harm to my channel or me, it does bring up a major concern. What exactly is the reason?? I have a few guesses, but it's a long stretch.
I make educational content, I do not use profanity, I do not have anything sexual in nature in my videos, there are no children in my videos, no violence or graphic content or the use of drugs. The plants I grow are not drugs either. If at any point in a few past videos I have made a minor reference to a certain "plant" it has always been in a educational or discreet way. None of my content is centered towards growing medicinal plants and none of my videos teach or show that specifically.
While I do like making videos to an extent and do like doing experiments, the frequency at which I do so is catered to the way YouTube functions as a platform. This meaning that any time a video gets no ads it feels like working for free. A lot of my motivation does come from my viewers and I certainly feel the need to provide ,but part of my motivation is also income. Lets be honest...if money was not a factor, the world would not move much and many channels simply would not exist at the level they do.
So I am asking the community here. If you have not watched this video or if you just don't remember it much, it would help me to know your opinion of why it should be age restricted or not. YouTube will not tell me specifically as I have had to deal with this in the past with another video (that one was resolved). I can't keep making videos with a format that is deemed "unsuitable." So I need to know what to avoid. Thanks!
