Therapist Cerita Yvonne | Decolonize God

This channel is a sacred home for high-achieving, spiritually aware Black women who are healing from trauma, unlearning emotional survival, and remembering their divine identity.

I’m Cerita Yvonne — licensed therapist, relationship trauma expert, and spiritual teacher. I help Strong Black Women unlearn the performance of strength and embody the safety, softness, and self-trust that real love requires. Here, I teach the spiritual anatomy of trauma — how survival, identity, and ancestral memory shape your nervous system, your relationships, and your connection to God.

You’ll learn how to stop manifesting from fear and begin creating from coherence — where quantum healing meets spiritual awakening. Together, we’ll explore the deeper truth of emotional healing, divine feminine embodiment, and sacred psychology — all rooted in nervous system safety, spiritual law, and ancestral remembrance.

This is where Black women remember we are Love embodied, because God is Love.

I Thought I Was Seeking God — Then I Realized God Was Seeking Me

There’s something I’ve been noticing lately.
Not in my head — but in the quiet space behind my breath.

For so long, I thought I was seeking God.
Praying, meditating, fasting, healing — always trying to get closer.
And then, one day, it felt like God pressed closer to me.
Like the Presence was saying, “Beloved, stop reaching. I’m already here.”

I felt that in my body — not as lightning, but as warmth.
The same warmth that shows up when I stop performing strength.
The same stillness that meets me when I stop explaining and start exhaling.

It’s strange, isn’t it?

We pray to feel God, but we rarely pause long enough to notice the way God feels us back.

That’s what I’m learning — intimacy with Love is mutual.
It’s not a one-way confession; it’s communion.

And I think that’s why I tremble sometimes when I speak.
Because a part of me still can’t believe Love would choose this voice,
with all its stumbles and pauses and unfinished sentences,
to speak through.

But then I remember — Love isn’t looking for perfect vessels.
Love is looking for open ones.

And so today, I’m not trying to teach you anything.
I’m just remembering out loud.

Because maybe, as I remember, you’ll remember too —
that God was never far, and Love never stopped speaking.

Have you ever felt like you were chasing God… only to realize God was already within you?

Beloved Ones,
I just want to pause and say thank you.

In the past month this little corner of the internet—our healing circle—has reached over 900 views, 200 hours of watch time, and 58 new souls. 🌕

Every breath we’ve taken together, every “yes,” every “safe,” every quiet moment of reflection… it all matters. You didn’t just watch a video—you entered a sanctuary.

My prayer is that each time you visit, you feel peace return to your body and Love whisper, “You were never broken.”

If the work here has touched you, keep journeying with me:
💜 Tap the bell icon so you’ll know when we gather live.
💜 Share a video with a sister who’s ready to breathe again.

We’re just getting started, Beloved.
Thank you for being part of this remembrance.

When did you first feel conflict between what you were taught about God and what you felt in your spirit?
