Since I've been doing deliveries since 1992, I figure I have a little to say about it, based on over 250,000 deliveries and over 2 million miles driven.
The channel is also going to include some tips and tricks, some favorites scenic shots of places. delivered, some ways to figure out if if doing gig economy deliveries is for you, delivery bags I've used, spotting good and bad offers, and probably a bunch more that I'm not thinking about when I'm filling out of this description.
Also, I may occasionally vent..or do ASMR...or something else that catches my fancy.

Hello there!!
I just wanted to let you know about a couple of new videos that I put out:
First one is a full shift delivery audit, where I go through all the numbers of an actual doordash shift, with numbers you may or may not think that matter when it comes to doing that kind of work.
Second one is a 66-minute roadside stream ASMR. I just happen to be driving through the Puget sound and happen to see a stream off the side of the road and I took the time to actually go ahead and record it, with a right rode wireless micro, so it sounds great.
If either of these appeal to you, enjoy. Have a great weekend!

Hello, to those of you that have watched my live videos. I decided to put out some small snippets from those live videos, in a little series that I'm calling The Engine And The Road. I'm going to start with four parts of this, and then I'm going to put out a multiple hour longer video from another one of the live videos. Tell me your opinion on the videos, what you like, what you don't, and feedback is always good, despite what people say. Enjoy it if you like, don't tell anybody if you don't.

Took the day off today to do some DIY work on my vehicle. Needed to replace the front brake pads and rotors, fix an annoying turn signal switch, and do an oil change.
But you also find when you do DIY work is that you're not nearly as fast as you think you are.
I watched a YouTube video to do the job, and I just found myself going back and forth between working on the car and looking at the YouTube video because I didn't want to screw up my car, because it's the only car I got right now.
It was better to be methodical about my repairs than to rush and make a mistake. I did all the work for $588 which broke down to $363 for parts, and $225 for shop time.
All in all, I think I did pretty well. The better part is, got everything done in one day, and if I actually went to a professional shop, there's no way it would have all been done in one day, and even no guarantee that I would have gotten an appointment today.
By doing it all in one day, it allows me to get back to working without having to slow down for a repair.
Also, I have some live drives coming up and a few shorts that I'm working on. I hope you like the content, and I guess if you don't, you can always scroll to the next YouTuber. Not like there isn't millions of us.
Adios...

So I was originally doing a live chat, and I think when I got going on it, I decided to cut it short for a certain reason.
I was looking for more engagement, because I think the doordash /chroger news is very significant. It won't be in the beginning, but it will probably have longer-term consequences for instacart down the road, and I just wanted to see if there was instacart shoppers that were out there that were aware of the news, or have any opinion on how this news will affect them, but I didn't see anybody that joined the live chat that fit what I was looking for, so it kind of took all the wind out of my sails.
Thank you for the few of you that checked it out, and hopefully when I do a live chat again, maybe we'll have topics that will be more meaningful to a wider audience.

So... I wasn't planning on doing a live chat, but My last short got such a quick and fast engagement, that I thought it would be worth talking about.
So the topic of tonight's chat will be about how Doordash being a part of the group that will be offering grocery store services for the 2700 Kroger grocery stores, which means that it's now going to be doordash, Uber eats, and instacart, and how that will affect all three.
Will go live in about 13 minutes.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the people that have watched the first month back after taking a year off from doing these videos.
It hasn't even been a month back, and I've already passed 5,000 views for the month, and added 18 new subscribers, and I'm grateful for those that have stayed to watch the content, or just did a scroll by and checked it out. You never know if what you say is going to mean anything to anybody until you put it out there.
I've experimented with a variety of videos, including a topic near and dear to my wallet, gig economy delivery. I'll probably continue to experiment, as I'm still trying to totally figure out what I want to do with the channel, and I have a bunch of ideas, so you'll probably see more videos of experimentation in the future.
So until the next video.....
Adios.
