Finally had the time and energy to get back to my Planet Zoo reptile house build. Still a WIP but its going well. I'm showing off the mostly completed areas. I can show it off in more detail in a video if interested (leave a comment if you want that so I know). I love doing lighting and special effects in and around my habitats (literally spent way to long fussing over the lights to get them in just the right spots for my liking). Anyways, y'all like it? Also, who is excited for Planet Zoo 2?!!

Tonight was one of the best nights of the year for me! I attended the @HalfwayToHalloweenExpo in Michigan! The video will be on my Skeleton Bell channel soon! I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to interview some of the vendors and haunted house community! It truly is an honor! I even found (and bought) some spicy 🥵 Leon Kennedy art! I'm amazed and envy those who can do this two days in a row because my body needs a few days to recover.

I know it's been a bit since I've streamed or uploaded but I'm hoping to do so again soon. The last stream I ended abruptly because of a family emergency that's been a bit life altering and challenging to deal with. Getting back to a more normal routine will take time but I'm starting to work on videos again because, honestly, it's a creative outlet for me. I wish you all well and I'll see you on stream soon. P.S. I made blueberry cream cheese danishes in the middle of the night because I stress bake too.

Resident Evil Requiem releases tomorrow morning for me. I plan to stream on both YouTube and twitch (if possible). Yes, I will be screaming in excitement like a howler monkey in heat. You've been warned. Leon Kennedy makes my blood boil to the point I feel like I'm bursting at the seams and being puppeteered by some unseen force bc I'm no longer in control of my thoughts and actions. I feel like a feral animal and I'm not proud....but my self control has had its limitations tested and it finally broke. Thanks Capcom. Let's see if I get banned tomorrow (Friday) at 12pm EST.

I did a silly video of me testing out my belly dancer top after I discovered a defect in it. I have a fail safe in the vest so if the string does completely tear, the top won't fall off (this is YouTube after all). It's meant to be an active wear top so I wanted to make sure it can withstand exercise before I wear it to the Ren Faire this year. But also, WARNING: I am TERRIBLE at dancing! I have NO-Absolutely NO SKILL! I acknowledge this and warn you about the terrible dancing you will see if you watch this video. I have terrible coordination and balance issues that I've been working on for years and (they have improved) but not enough to look good while doing it. lol!

For anyone interested in a Children of Hoarders support group, I joined the COH discord server and Reddit. I'll be posting those links as the group and discord have a lot of helpful resources and lots of emotional support for those of you who have experienced trauma associated with hoarding. Please make sure to read through their rules and roles if you join. These are currently the only helpful resources that I am aware of right now. If I find more, I will post them as well.

I went to The Scream Machine tonight for their Christmas haunted house and had a fantastic time! It was bittersweet knowing this is the last time I'll see them for awhile since they have to leave their current building. Being (unexpectedly) taken behind the scenes and up a ladder gave me the best view the the house! It was like looking at rats in a maze! I even got to see how the hellevator works and the cameras that track the happenings!! I'm exhausted but give y'all a little peek at what I saw. I'll post a full video on my haunt channel. If you're in the Detroit area and looking for a haunted house, they are open tomorrow (13th) and the 19th.

Would anyone be interested in helping me form a support group for Children of Hoarders? I've been working with my therapist to try to find some and we came across 1 Facebook group....and they don't allow posts. There's also a website but that's currently down. The only other place I've found is Reddit....but I can understand the reservations of opening up there. I can continue making videos (and I will) but I want a safe place where people can open up and be heard by others who have gone through similar situations. I had no idea until I made the Hoarders video that so many people have gone through or are going through something similar. I think a Discord might work well? I can set it up the best I can (but I am not the best at navigating Discord to be honest), someone else can or it can be a group effort. It's just shocking to see how few resources there are for hoarders and those traumatized by it. It can be for venting, sharing your story or maybe how you have coped. Honestly, even a little joking/memes because sometimes I find that making little jokes about my past helps me get through the day.
