A f*cking heart!? Are you actually serious YouTube? Now this platform is losing it's own identity even more by removing not only the dislike button but also replacing the like button to a bloody heart, just like other short form platforms, like TikTok, Instagram Reels and Snapchat.

I've been getting really sick of these really dumb unessesary changes for the past like 5 years now. I guess if this happens to long form videos, then that will be the end of like/dislike button...

I guess it's RIP like/dislike button 2010-2026 then?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 2005 - 2010 (Before the Like/Dislike button existed, there was a star rating system. Viewers could rate videos from one to five stars)

👍👎 - 2010 - 2026? (On March 31st, 2010, the star rating was replaced with like/dislike button along with a ratio bar. In November 2021 the dislike counter and ratio bar was removed.)

🤍 (shorts) Now in July 2026, the dislike button been removed and the like button is replaced with a heart.

It's uncertain now if they will reverse the change It's gonna take time to get used to this new change lol. With that thank you for reading this rant lol.
