Take a moment to reflect:
💭 Who has been shaping my identity lately?
💭 Am I rooted in truth or public opinion?
💭 Do I truly know who God says I am?
💭 Have I allowed culture to influence my thinking more than Scripture?

Identity makes the most sense when connected to the One who created you.

This week we've talked about identity.

The world has many opinions about who you should be.

Culture has a voice.
Social media has a voice.
Past experiences have a voice.
Fear has a voice.
Comparison has a voice.

But today...

Be still.

Sabbath is more than stopping from work.
It is making room for God's voice to become louder than every other voice competing for your identity.

Jesus invites us and says Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened... and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11:28

Sometimes the greatest burden we carry isn't our schedule...

It's trying to become who everyone else expects us to be.

Today, lay down:
🤍 the pressure to perform
🤍 the need for approval
🤍 the fear of not measuring up
🤍 the labels others have placed on you
🤍 the lies you've believed about yourself

And pick up what God says instead.

✨ You are His workmanship.
✨ You are chosen.
✨ You are deeply loved.
✨ You were created with purpose.
✨ Your identity is secure in Christ.

🌿 May this Sabbath be a place of renewal - not only for your body, but for your heart and your identity.

The loudest voice in your life should always be the One who created you.

🌙 SHABBAT SHALOM



In a world that constantly says:
“Go harder.”
“Do more.”
“Keep scrolling.”
“Don’t stop.”



God still says:
👉 “Rest.”



The Sabbath is more than a break…
it’s a reminder.

✨ You are not a machine.
✨ Your value is not in constant productivity.
✨ Your identity is not built on performance.



For this next generation especially—
Sabbath teaches something powerful:

🌿 You do not have to chase worth.
🌿 You do not have to earn love.
🌿 You do not have to live exhausted to matter.



📖 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8



This Sabbath:
💭 unplug
💭 breathe
💭 worship
💭 reconnect with God
💭 reconnect with family
💭 reconnect with purpose



Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do…
is be still in God’s presence.



🔥 Rest is holy too.
