tl;dr of situation: my body but especially my brain is forcing a little bit of a break. I don't know what this is going to do to the algorithm recommending my stuff, even to subscribers, so I'd suggest signing up for a free membership on Patreon if you want to know when I am able to pick up again. Those emails do happen.

I'll still be doing supporter rambles for both patrons and members here, though. They just probably won't be super fancy.

Question for y'all: would you rather the next "Bad Therapy" video get through the entirety of the first chapter (even if that means it's a bit lengthier and takes longer), or to end the video at a break point (meaning I won't get through the first chapter, but would have a new video sooner)?

I just spend the day working through one half of one end note, which resulted in ~15 minutes of script :|

Ughhh, of course things didn't go like planned, and I'm feeling some kind of way about it.

The surgeon saw a stricture (Schatzki's ring), so (according to the after visit from the surgeon and the notes), he decided to treat that, and not do the POEM procedure. The treatment for the stricture was to dilate with a balloon.

That stricture, which had zero mention in the endoscope 13 months ago, which you may not is long after my symptoms started, was treated under the assumption it was causing my trouble swallowing.

I'm so angry, frustrated, and depressed about it. The can just got kicked down the road again! Fuck
