For those new here, #OneInAnARMY partnered with @NGOSyriaCare this May, to help provide fast-breaking #Ramadan meals to Syrian refugees living with food insecurity. Syria Care is a Malaysia-based organization that has been working to provide assistance to Syrian refugees & war survivors since the crisis began. As many Syrians are Muslims, the observation of #Ramadan is an important event even in the midst of the tragic situations they face.Volunteers from Syria Care (many of whom are fasting themselves) spent all day, each day during #Ramadan, preparing meals for Syrians without access to food security or sometimes even the means to prepare meals themselves. They rely on donations to provide the food and supplies.Our ARMY, you stepped up as usual and made us proud! ARMYs in 18 different countries - even in the midst of the very expensive Comeback & Tour Ticket Season - put our donations together and  came up with 3,151.19RM for #Ramadan meals for Syrian people! Way to go ARMY! You made a difference by providing much-needed food to Syrian people. For them, this is a time of faith, self-reflection and showing compassion for those less fortunate than yourself, and you have done a great job in helping to uphold those ideals on their behalf! ARMY, Thank you. When we started this project, we didn't know how it would go. We simply thought that are wonderful & ARMY is powerful & combined, that power can be used to do good. You amaze us in proving that true. We're not superheroes, but we do make a difference. Okay, ARMY! Let’s kick off our month of May recap with a look back at our first campaign! Here are the results of the #OneInAnARMY project's first campaign, #OneForSyria_April. If you are as proud of ARMY as we are after this, please share with the words: "I am #OneInAnARMY" on your twitter account. First, we'd like to sincerely thank the wonderful people at @medicalteamsinternationalfor providing the avenue for us to channel our collective ARMY power into helping the people of Syria. Please take a moment to acknowledge the immensely important work of Medical Teams International and the effort we supported. We encourage you to follow their twitter account and support them; they are wonderful people who are saving lives, and they are now good friends of the ‪@BTS‬ ARMY! 

So what did we do to help the medical crisis in Syria? The ‪@BTS‬ ARMY:
- from 37 countries
- with 149 donations to the BTS ARMY page from both individuals and groups
- gave $2673.00 *of their own money*
- with an additional $114.00 added from other avenues

Hello everyone!💜
We haven't had a video for you all for quite some time, but our team has been busy!

We're still doing fundraisers every month though (except now in May) 😁

As a supplement to our videos we thought of doing some community posts, to keep the Youtube side of ARMY (and other who are interested) up to date with what we're doing as well!

For example, we never shared the actual fundraising updates, or our report on what ARMY's donation have resulted in through videos, so we thought we'd start to catch you up on all that's happened the past 3 years, since May means we've now gown into our 4th year as a fundraising collective.

So over the course of May we'll show you where all our donations have ended up 🤩
We're also starting to prepare for the new birthday cycle, which means we need YOUR help to choose what causes to support for each member's birthday.

Looking forward to many more year with you all 💜🥂
