A Quick Update + UK Pet Travel Info Coming Soon

Hi everyone! 

I owe you an explanation for the radio silence lately.

I'll be honest: watching the news from the US while living abroad has been harder than I expected. There's something uniquely disorienting about being far from home during times of uncertainty, and I've been spiraling a bit trying to process it all. The distance amplifies everything - you're not quite there to experience it directly, but you're also not quite here enough to fully disconnect. And truthfully, we don't want to disconnect - the US is still our home, and we want nothing but peace and safety for everyone there.

Marshall, Penelope, and I are doing okay. We're busy making Lyon our new home, and we're still here sharing our journey of understanding life in this city and our trips abroad.

Speaking of which: We recently took Penelope to the UK and the process is very different from traveling to other EU countries. There are specific requirements, timing constraints, and paperwork that many people don't realize they need when crossing from the EU to the UK with a pet.

We're working on getting that video to you soon because this is information that could save you a lot of headache if you're planning a UK trip with your dog.
