Wi Sports Mississauga vs Toronto Pacers end in a controversial draw. The umpires were in a rush to go and sleep so they call off the game after 7 overs.

Excerpt from Match Report:
“Rain started drizzling before and after the match. Visibility was low as the sky was overcast. The pitch was waterlogged. Toronto Pacers did not have any stumps, cones and or 30 yards markers. In the spirit of the game, WI Sports lent them their stumps. WI Sports attempted to claim the toss as Toronto Pacers were not set up on time but umpires did not award. Umpires demanded their money and was paid. Toronto Pacers won the toss and decided to bat. Only 7 overs were bowled when the umpire stated he could not see and wanted to call off the game. Both sides wanted to play but after standing around in the wet and cold, muscles tightened and men started to go home. The game was eventually cancelled."

WI Sports Canada, a registered nonprofit whose aim is boosting the mental and physical health of its players needs your support to cover rising league expenses and player development costs.

Any sponsor will be promoted to our hundreds of dedicated local fans. On YouTube alone we have over 19k subscribers and our shorts and reels gets thousands of views each week meaning more eyes on your product or service.

We currently have 3 cricket teams in total with one each in Hamilton, Mississauga and Brampton. We currently have over 50 registered players.
