👋Welcome to my adventures! Camping🏕️ Surviva🪓 Bushcraft🏔️

Marusya Outdoors

I’ve decided to start a brand-new adventure — building my own place. 🛠️🌲

The first thing I tackled was my grandfather’s old garage, which had been locked for over 10 years. It had almost disappeared behind trees and bushes, the doors had sunk into the ground, and I honestly had no idea what I would find inside.

As expected, it was full of old junk collected over the years. Most of it will be cleared out, but the garage itself is exactly what I need. After a bit of cleaning and a few repairs, it will become the perfect place to store building materials and tools while I work on my new project.

This is just the beginning. There’s a lot of work ahead, and I’m excited to share the whole journey with you! 🚪✨

There’s something special about exploring the world by bike. 🚴‍♀️🌿

You don’t have to rush. You simply ride, breathe the fresh air, listen to the birds, and take in the beauty around you. On a bicycle, you notice so many little things you would easily miss in a car.

I love discovering new places, but what amazes me even more is that the same route never looks the same twice. Every season transforms it into something completely different.

A bike isn’t just transport for me. It’s freedom, calmness, and a little adventure every time I hit the road.

I think happiness is often hidden in moments just like these. 🤍🍃🚴‍♀️

It took me just 30 minutes to assemble my new ‪@FIIDOEbikeOfficial‬ Fiido Nomads, and I was already riding through some of my favorite places. 🚴‍♀️🌿

I’ve always loved bicycles. There’s something special about riding at your own pace, breathing fresh air, listening to nature, and discovering beautiful places you would easily miss by car.

A bike gives me a true sense of freedom. No rush, no noise—just me, the road, and another little adventure.

But an e-bike changes the experience in the best way. You can ride farther, explore more, and still choose how much effort you want to put in. I especially love that the Fiido Nomads only provides pedal assist—you still have to pedal, which means you’re getting real exercise while saving enough energy to enjoy every kilometer of the journey.

So far, I’m genuinely impressed with the Fiido Nomads. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next. 🌲🤍

I made and tested a wooden fishing spear 🌊🐟

It’s one of the simplest and oldest island tools for catching fish. Basically, you need a strong wooden stick: split the end into several parts, place small spacers between them, tie everything tightly with rope, and sharpen the tips.

It becomes a kind of wooden “fork” for fishing in shallow water.

This method works best during low tide, when the water goes down and fish hide between rocks, coral, and small reef pools. At that point, you don’t need a fishing rod — you just need to watch carefully and understand where the fish might be hiding.

But wood is still wood. If you hit a rock or coral, the tips can get dull or slightly damaged pretty quickly. The good thing is that you can simply sharpen it again right on the spot and keep using it.

I tested it in practice: the catch holds on it really well, and everything works exactly as it should 😄🔥

Of course, in the ocean, it’s better to do things like this with people who know the local reefs, tides, and fishing rules. It’s not only about catching fish, but also about staying safe.

Surviving on a deserted island became one of the best experiences of my life 🏝️

It felt both exciting and peaceful. As we approached the island by boat, I had this incredible feeling of anticipation, as if I was about to discover a whole new world.

Then the real adventure began — finding the perfect place for camp, building a shelter from sticks, branches, and palm leaves, collecting coconuts for water and food, fishing, cooking over a fire, and simply learning how to live with nature.

The team taught me many useful survival skills, which made me feel confident and comfortable even in such a remote place.

Instead of fresh water — coconut water 🥥
Instead of city noise — the sound of waves 🌊

Swimming, fishing, exploring the island, watching sunsets, and enjoying every moment became part of my daily routine.

I think I want a vacation like this every year now.

Would you like to spend a few days on a real deserted island too? 👀

How my stay on an uninhabited island went 🌴

Honestly, it was amazing and almost a little unreal — to live on a real uninhabited island, with no usual rush, no stores, and no people.

I didn’t really have to starve: the ocean here is full of seafood that you can literally collect with your hands. Coconuts also helped me every single day 🥥

There are almost no dangerous animals or insects, and very few mosquitoes.
The only thing is — at night, crabs are constantly rustling around and, I swear, trying to steal my coconuts 😄

The main downside is that there’s no fresh water on the island.
I mostly drank coconut water. If it had rained, it would have been easier, but this time I had to manage with what I had.

I got a little sunburned, but nothing too serious 😅

Other than that… it was a real reset.
No gadgets, no rush, no constant noise around.

Just the ocean, palm trees, white sand, and time to think about something important.
Sometimes moments like this are exactly what you need to feel the value of your life again 🌊

Snorkeling near an uninhabited island in the Maldives 🌊

From the surface, this island already looks like paradise: white sand, palm trees, turquoise water, and complete silence. But the moment you dive in, a whole new world opens beneath you.

Underwater, there are incredible coral reefs, warm crystal-clear water, and so much life all around. I was swimming above the corals, watching the fish, and it felt like being inside a giant natural aquarium.

This was one of the most beautiful moments of my island adventure: above the water — a deserted island, and below it — an entire living universe.

Sometimes happiness is very simple: a mask, fins, warm ocean water, and the feeling that you are somewhere at the edge of the world 🌴✨

My dream finally came true — I spent several days alone on a real uninhabited island 🌴

A place with no usual comfort, no stores, no people, and none of the normal everyday noise. Just the ocean, the sound of waves, coconuts, fishing, and the survival skills I learned before being dropped off there.

I built my own shelter from palm leaves and sticks, caught fish, explored the island, snorkeled, and simply enjoyed this incredible experience 🌊

And honestly… it became one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life.

I filmed a long video about this experience for you guys, so stay tuned 😄🔥

Exploring local Maldivian islands is making me realize how important it is to slow down sometimes 🌴🥥

To stop constantly rushing somewhere, living in an endless race, and missing the little moments that actually make life special.

Warm ocean, fresh coconuts, the sound of waves, and complete peace…
Sometimes this is exactly what we all need 🌊
