Most “Aggressive Dogs” Aren’t Aggressive. They’re Ignored.

This might upset some people… but it needs to be said.

Dogs almost never bite “out of nowhere.”

Before the growl…
before the snap…
there was communication.

Clear. Repeated. Ignored.

Your dog doesn’t suddenly become aggressive.
They try the polite way first.

They look away.
They lick their lips.
They yawn when they’re not tired.
They freeze.

That’s your dog saying:
“I’m uncomfortable.”
“I need space.”
“This is too much.”

But most people miss it.

Or worse — they push further.

So the dog learns one thing:
quiet signals don’t work.

And when they don’t…
dogs go louder.

Growling.
Snapping.
Biting.

And suddenly:
“aggressive dog.”

But the truth?

In many cases, the dog was communicating the whole time.
No one was listening.

A growl isn’t bad behavior.
It’s a warning.

Punish it… and next time,
there may be no warning at all.
