Trump is turning this country into an autocracy and destroying civil discourse. His comments about Senator Kelly prove it.


We all have political disagreements and people we do not like, including myself. But that NEVER justifies harm or death threats towards others.


This is why people are turned off to politics and running for Congress because of the toxic culture Trump promotes. I already thought Trump should be impeached; now he just gave us a new reason to. We cannot stand for this.


No president should ever make comments like this, and we need to hold Trump accountable, regardless of how many votes the impeachment gets.

ICE and the US Border Patrol can get the fuck out of NC.

I am sad to hear that they are potentially coming to Wake County tomorrow.

They are acting like a secret police and detaining anyone whom they don't like. ICE and US Border Patrol are not protecting our borders; they are acting like bullies and an enforcement arm for Donald Trump.

The U.S. Healthcare system was broken before the shutdown, and it's going to be worse after this shitty budget deal. The goal now needs to remain what I have been advocating for the entire time. Universal coverage for all American citizens. I have a unique plan to do it, it involves a Bismarck model healthcare system with non-profit sickness funds, heavy regulation and price negotiations for all healthcare services (including prescription drugs and mental health), and access to quality coverage. The current Establishment Leaders in the Senate showed why Congress is broken today.
Democrats, if we want to work towards universal healthcare coverage, a living wage, a clean environment, and lower energy bills. Building a new coalition via proportional representation is the key. We can do it right now, starting with community aid projects and by taking action.
