For all the hateful messages I’ve received
From each holler, state, or stretch of these mountains… you’ll hear it said a little different.
And that’s the beauty of it.
This country was built on voices that don’t all sound the same—on stories shaped by where we come from and how we were raised. That diversity is what makes us strong, resilient, tough… and downright beautiful.
There’s no one “right” way to say it.
Because every way carries a piece of the mountain with it. 🏔️
