The most challenging part of IELTS is... Writing.✍️ This is what stats show year after year.📊
In my own experience, after reviewing over 10,000 essays, one issue comes up again and again: not fully answering the question. It’s exactly what examiners refer to as “addressing the task fully”. And it’s often where scores are lost. 😞
So let’s look at two essays side by side. I promise, once you see the difference, this task will get easier for you. 🤍

Hi everyone,
I’m so excited to finally share something I’ve been working on for a long time:
✨The Ultimate IELTS Guide✨
This series of videos was created to help you focus on the strategies that actually make a difference in your IELTS score.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked with thousands of students, and I’ve seen the same problem come up again and again: students studying hard, but not always knowing *how* to approach each IELTS exam section effectively. 📚
So in this guided series, I’ll walk you through the most important strategies for every part of the IELTS test (🎧Listening, 📖Reading, ✍️Writing, and 🗣️Speaking) in a simple, practical way that you can actually apply in your own preparation.
These are the exact methods that helped so many of my students improve their scores from Band 6 to Band 7, 8, and even 9. ✨
📘 Alongside the videos, I'm releasing a free companion PDF guide "The Ultimate IELTS Playbook" with extra materials, examples, and practice for you as the series continues.
I hope this series helps you feel more confident, more prepared, and a little less overwhelmed during your IELTS journey.
The first video is now live. 🚀 Join us there and make sure to download the Playbook below. ⬇️

To all those who received lower than expected scores in IELTS Writing or Speaking:
Now you can find out exactly why this happened by requesting a detailed breakdown.
YOU CAN REQUEST YOUR SCORE BREAKDOWN IF:
• You’ve already received your official IELTS certificate (Test Report Form – TRF)
• Your test was taken recently (I'm not sure what the exact limit is, but my guess is within the last 2 years)
HOW TO REQUEST YOUR SCORE BREAKDOWN:
Step 1: Get your IELTS certificate ready (TRF).
Step 2: Check whether your test was administered by British Council or IDP.
(Even if your test centre had a different name, it will be one of these two.)
Step 3: Submit your request:
• If your test provider was British Council: Fill out this form: forms.office.com/r/qj0ECRwGuD
(Yes, it’s a Microsoft Form, but it’s the official one!)
• If your test provider was IDP: Send an email to privacyofficer@idp.com. You’ll receive an automatic reply with further instructions.
Step 4: Wait for your breakdown—it may take up to a month.
Step 5: Once you receive it, I’d really appreciate it if you could send me a copy.
It’s not a fast process, but it can give you valuable insight into your performance and where to focus your improvement efforts.
Good luck!
