한국 친구들, 그리고 구독자 여러분 안녕하세요!

리믹스 영상에서는 여러분과 직접 소통할 기회가 많지 않지만, 영상 통계를 보면 정말 많은 한국 시청자분들이 꾸준히 제 리믹스를 찾아와 주시고 감상해 주신다는 것을 알고 있습니다.

그래서 항상 정말 감사한 마음이 크지만, 한편으로는 여러분을 더 잘 알 기회가 많지 않아서 조금 아쉽기도 합니다.

저는 2009년에 한국으로 온 이후 지금까지 1,000곡이 넘는 리믹스를 발표해 왔습니다. 가끔은 한국의 거리, 바, 그리고 큰 페스티벌에서도 제 리믹스를 들을 때가 있습니다. 하지만 한국에서는 Areia Remix를 해외 브랜드처럼 생각하시는 분들이 많아서, 조금 거리감을 느끼고 소통을 망설이시는 경우도 있는 것 같습니다.

그래서 먼저, 혹시 저를 잘 모르시는 분들을 위해 간단히 소개드리고 싶습니다.

제 이름은 Jun Areia이고, 그리스 출신입니다. 서울에서 지낸 지는 어느덧 17년이 되었습니다.

제가 주로 해 온 일은 아티스트 개발과 프로듀싱입니다. 특히 한국의 작은 아티스트들과 함께 오리지널 곡이나 뮤직비디오 같은 작업을 해 왔습니다.

Areia Remix는 한류 초창기 때 K-pop을 전 세계에 알리는 데 어느 정도 의미 있는 역할을 했다고 생각합니다. 특히 더 강하고 에너지 있는 사운드에 익숙했던 해외 리스너들에게 K-pop을 더 친숙하게 전달하는 데 도움이 되었습니다.

물론 지금은 한국 자체가 이미 거대한 브랜드가 되었고, 더 이상 누군가의 도움 없이도 전 세계적으로 사랑받고 있습니다. 하지만 Areia Remix는 여전히 많은 분들이 좋아해 주시는 프로젝트이고, 무엇보다 제 인생에서 아주 오랫동안 함께해 온 프로젝트이기 때문에 지금도 계속 유지하고 있습니다.

웹사이트는 한국어도 지원합니다. 아직 개발 중이라 모바일에서는 완벽하게 보이지 않을 수도 있지만, 이미 여러 기능이 들어가 있습니다. 예를 들어 직접 플레이리스트를 만들고 저장할 수도 있습니다.

웹사이트를 둘러보시면 몇몇 리믹스가 “잠금” 표시되어 있고 짧은 티저만 볼 수 있는 것을 보실 수 있습니다. 그 이유는 제가 YouTube에는 매달 몇 곡만 공개로 업로드하고 있기 때문입니다. 더 많은 리믹스들은 Patreon 페이지에서 소정의 구독료로 감상하실 수 있습니다. 구독하시면 해당 티어에 포함된 과거의 잠금 리믹스들도 모두 감상하실 수 있습니다.

참고로 YouTube에 리믹스를 올려도 저는 수익을 받지 않습니다. YouTube의 Content ID 시스템을 통해 모든 수익은 자동으로 원곡의 엔터테인먼트 회사와 아티스트에게 전달됩니다.

The Areia Remix Universe website is now live in beta!

You can now browse the full Areia Remix archive, search through hundreds of remixes, filter by artist, genre, Type, release date, and Patreon access level, and create your own playlist directly on the site!

The archive includes both free YouTube remixes and supporter-only remix previews, so you can explore the full Areia Remix Universe in one place.

Main features so far:

- Search the remix archive by artist, song title, genre, ID, Type, arranger, or mixer.
- Sort remixes by release date, Type, artist name, or genre.
- Use the mini player to listen while browsing or the full screen player to enjoy the remixes on the side
- Preview supporter-only remixes through public teaser videos and See which Patreon tiers unlock each exclusive remix.
- Browse the site in multiple languages, including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Spanish, Portuguese, and Indonesian.

This is still a beta version, so more features and improvements will be added over time. Future updates may include better mobile layouts, more archive tools, improved playlists, new sections explaining the Areia Remix Universe, and eventually deeper Patreon integration.

For now, feel free to explore the archive, rediscover older remixes, check out the newest releases, and maybe find some hidden favorites you missed.

Hello guys!
I’ve got something special for you today.
I’ve just made all the extended “Original” versions from last year’s Evolution remixes publicly available.
During the first wave of Evolution, I was only releasing shorter Radio Edits on the main Areia Creations channel, while the full versions were exclusive to Patreon.
Since then, I’ve expanded things quite a bit on the Patreon side with dozens of exclusive remixes, so it felt right to now open these earlier extended versions to everyone. Enjoy!

I remember trying to remix 2NE1's I Don't Care back in 2010 in my first years of K-pop remixing but never made it into a completed project. Now it finally takes its rightful place in the Areia Remix legacy!

After running Areia Remix Universe for a whole month, I could get the insights required to set a better pricing for everybody.
When I've introduced Universe last month, I've simply applied the old tier prices to the new model.
The target though is to offer maximum access to people who want to support my work, while still providing good value at a reasonable cost.
The more the people who support my work, the more time I can afford to make even more remixes - especially on the higher tiers.
The changes:
Makne lowered from $15 to $10
Sunbae lowered from $25 to $15
K-pop Legend lowered from $50 to $25

Per Patreon rules, new members will see the price change immediately, while current members will get the price update next month.
