New Testament Theologist - Rev. Nick Quient

Welcome! I am Nick Quient and I am a nerd who loves studying Scripture. Welcome to my little channel where I offer in-depth exegesis and rigorous theological analysis of the New Testament.

I am Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Palos Verdes in Greater Los Angeles. I am a husband, dad, and a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (MA: New Testament) and Biola University (BA). I have published peer-reviewed material in The Canadian-American Theological Review, Priscilla Papers, and Evangelical Review of Theology. I am ordained in the American Baptist Churches USA and am currently working (very slowly) on a PhD in New Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. I have served as an Associate and Interim Pastor in Southern California since 2018.

Scholarship, at the end of the day, is ultimately an act of worship and service to the church.
