There are quite a few weird, bitter, and twisted guys in Thailand who spend their days living in comment sections because they have no real life to speak of. They were desperate for me to fail in England and never make it back to Thailand to be with my son. That says more about them than it ever could about me.

The reality is, these types don't just hope for my downfall. They enjoy seeing anyone fail. They feed off other people's misfortune. You'll usually find them hiding behind fake accounts or blank profile pictures, lurking in Thailand YouTube comment sections and Facebook groups, throwing cheap shots from the safety of a keyboard. Funny how courage always seems to disappear when there's a face-to-face conversation involved. 

That said, there are also plenty of good blokes in Thailand. They understand how things work here, they've met these characters before, and they know exactly the type of person I'm talking about. The loudest keyboard warriors are often the same people who wouldn't dare behave like that back in their own countries.

If you're new to Thailand, choose your friends carefully. There are some genuinely decent people here, but there are also plenty of Nesbits lurking in the shadows. 🐀👊🇹🇭

It’s a deeper look into the quieter side of expat life in Thailand & Southeast Asia… the loneliness, the isolation, the routines, and the people who slowly disappear into the background of paradise. Not the flashy YouTube version of Thailand most channels show.

Also, I think I’ve finally figured out what’s been happening with my main channel recently. Since returning to the UK, YouTube’s algorithm seems to have realised I’m no longer physically in Thailand, and my reach to new viewers has dropped massively.

In the past 28 days, my main channel has only been shown to around 7,000 new viewers… while my brand new channel has already reached over 100,000 new viewers 🤯

So it looks like the algorithm is currently trying to figure out who to push my content to again because I’m now uploading from the UK instead of Thailand. Bonkers 🙃🙃🙃

Hopefully once YouTube realises the content itself hasn’t changed, things will settle down and return to normal over time 🙏

🚨Looks like the below information maybe the cause for my Channel being quiet 🤐 🚨

I made a video earlier today stating my concerns about this YouTube channel and today I have received a comment stating his notifications where turned off for my channel and I have received 2 emails confirming the same thing 😬

So I have searched for information regarding this online and here is what I found which is a bit shocking but not much I can do about it 🙏

if multiple people start saying this, combined with:

* lower impressions,
* fewer returning viewers,
* weaker notification traffic,
* subscribers saying they never saw uploads,

…then it can indicate YouTube has reduced how aggressively it distributes your content initially.

Not necessarily a “shadow ban” in the dramatic conspiracy sense, but more like:
“Your content is competing in an oversaturated category so we’re testing it with fewer people first.”

And honestly, Thailand relationship/drama stories are massively overcrowded now compared to even 12 months ago. You were early enough to build trust, but now there are dozens of channels farming fake chaos stories with AI voices and thumbnails showing crying women and red arrows like the apocalypse just hit Pattaya.
