Sorry friends no live, and if I have been absent, it’s been for a fun, exhausting, emotional and now back to fun week!
Hilary Duff with my girl last weekend, then our Pastor’s Wife needed an errand on that Monday following the concert and we ended up staying out running errands.

Tuesday & Wednesday house chores, with Wednesday being hard as I started getting really nervous about dropping off our pup early Thursday morning for surgery. Thursday Daisy Grace was getting spade, half day for Hannah, nap for us all when she got home for an hour. Then watching over Malachi & today Daisy. She has been doing great in recovery and is such a good patient. Although she is totally using my heart strings and doing multiple sits for treats.

Tomorrow is Florida Mango Fest #2 for me! We shall see if I end up just going in and not helping in some way. So many years as a teacher and Bridal consultant and other customer service and just service positions I have a hard time not stepping in if I see my fellow Floridians need help.

Let me know my Florida folks if you are coming and we can meet up there and take a selfie together!

Well, I was hoping to do a pop up live earlier to show y’all my full rain barrel. In fact if I had time to set it up (and the finances) I believe our summer rains deserve an over flow barrel or two.
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your over flow of knowledge, stories, and your lives with me. My heart is full and grateful for you all. Sadly, my body, is exhausted this week. And I will not be staying up late tonight. I am already starting to nod off.
Please forgive me, I believe I will be back soon, ordered a monitor for blood sugar to see if that is part of the exhaustion.
Worst time to have issues with blood sugar happening as it’s mango & tropical fruit season here. :/

🌴No Live tonight I have no fan in my Live room and our A/C broke today. 😢

🌺Other than that bummer, I am still So happy with my plants and trees after my visit out to ​⁠and chit chat with the nursery owner of ‪@CARIBEXOTICS‬. 🥭

🪴He is also someone I would call one of my local plant friends. Afterwards we headed out toward a local fruit stand, (I actually had to follow him as I woke up in a wanna be migraine and my brain is not braining), before we said our see ya laters I tried to look at some more plants there from local growers, sadly M my son was not having it. 👶🏾

🙏🏻But our timing was a God thing as the house was still cool and I began turning on all the fans, bathing M and ordering a fan for my daughter’s room from Instacart. 🙏🏻

Progress of a salad. lol Posting a pic for ‪@CreativeRedundancy‬ of my onions. One is below my bowl and in it, in the first pic, these were grown from starts from Lowe’s. They are not meant to be very large.
Sadly, my red creole onions are not doing all that great near the fence :( Still excited to see how big these white ones can get before our true summer hits and fries everything.

Grown by me: Yellow tomatoes (the two larger ones are from Sprouts, and next to my Sungolds have no flavor I grew the Lil’ Onions and Nasturtium flowers. I did grow a few lettuces, but the cellulose is so potent in the red/purple romaine it was too umm, cleansing. All have gone to seed, but I will try my salad greens from the onion bed, if I can get a salad spinner that is mostly stainless steel for cleaning the lettuce properly.

The stuff on top is hemp hearts, mini cukes, Jane’s Crazy mixed up salt and fresh ground black pepper. I went with Rice wine vinegar as it is lighter in flavor than the balsamic I brought out, and one source olive oil.

Welp, this has been A WEEK! First of all, I will not be live tonight, tomorrow is a music festival, we will attend. And I am still going, all while hubby is currently in the hospital. We went up to visit Wednesday and Thursday.
That is when he told me to take the kids (and the dog) and still go on Hannah’s birthday weekend. 😳🙏🏻❤️
It was supposed to be a girls only weekend, and if hubby was home I was going to do a pop live up this week before I left, but now the garden maybe getting fried with little summer turning up the UV. I am hoping to get out and water before I leave.
Sadly, my hubs is on IV antibiotics and they doubled them today. So they are doing their job, and I feel torn in two directions. But he still wants me to go, nothing I can do, and being at the hospital with our son who puts his hands in his mouth is not a great situation either.
At least he has a room to himself on a new floor at the VA. And one of the Pastors we know told me they would keep an eye on him if he came home before we did.
We thought it was a stomach virus, but nope, and right now we are just glad he has not needed surgery. His special diet will be coming to our house soon, just hope I can be helpful with it.
I do hope y’all have a wonderful Friday night, I have been packing and shopping for last minute items today. I will be loading up and heading out in hours. I have not checked email or other messages but will try soon.
Grateful, for you all and your prayers, also for good neighbors to keep an eye on our place, and Pastors who care & pray for our family, one went to visit hubby already too. ❤️🌺🐊
