Agra Inner Ring Road Phase 3 – Latest Update 🛣️🚧

The third phase of the Agra Inner Ring Road is being constructed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Bharatmala Pariyojna on EPC mode.

🔹 Length: 7.8 km
🔹 Route: From Village Deori to Village Bad (NH-44) in Uttar Pradesh
🔹 Expected Completion: September 2025

This phase will also mark a major milestone – with its completion, three expressways will be directly connected to Agra’s Inner Ring Road. The third expressway is the upcoming Gwalior–Agra Expressway, which is being developed by the NHAI Gwalior section and is targeted for completion in 24 months.

The Agra section of NHAI is responsible for integrating this phase of the Inner Ring Road with the Gwalior Highway, further boosting connectivity and reducing congestion.

Agra Northern Bypass

A 17.728 km Agra Bypass (Northern) project which will link NH-19 (old NH-2) and Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.

This 6 lane new greenfield highway will start north of Raipura Jat on km. 174.500 of NH-19 and terminate at Km. 141.000 of the Yamuna Expressway. Along the way, a new bridge over the Yamuna River will be built.

This project is being implemented by
Hillways Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. It connects km. 174.500 of NH-19 (old NH-2) to km 141.000 of Yamuna Expressways in the district of Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Hello Family, recently mene Agra 2031 master plan ko review kiya toh mujhe pata laga ki Bhagwan Talkies se Pratapura crossing tak elevated road banane ka plan hai.
Par isi section me Agra metro corridor -2 k pillars banaye ja rahe hain.
Toh mere hisaab se yahan par double decker flyover banana chaiye otherwise metro ka kaam poora hone k baad yahan flyover banana impossible ho jayega.
Aapke kya suggestions h comment karke bataye. Aur Agra aapko iske baare me kuch jaankari hai toh woh bhi share karein.

A Morning at the RBS Ramp – Witnessing Progress in Motion

Today morning, just as the city of Agra was waking up, I had the opportunity to witness something truly inspiring. At around 7 AM, I visited the RBS Ramp site to observe the ongoing construction work of the Agra Metro. The air was fresh, the streets were calm, but at the construction site, there was a different kind of energy — focused, determined, and fast-paced.

Right before my eyes, a U-girder was being launched — a critical piece in the elevated structure of the Metro line. It was fascinating to see the precision, coordination, and sheer scale of the work being done. The team from Ceigall India was working tirelessly, their efforts seamlessly synchronized, reflecting a strong commitment to timely delivery.

What struck me most was the speed and efficiency of the progress. Every movement at the site told a story of dedication, engineering excellence, and the promise of a better-connected future for Agra.

Kudos to #UPMRC and the #Ceigall India team for driving this transformation. Watching the Agra Metro take shape is not just witnessing construction — it's witnessing history in the making.

Agra Metro Advances with Placement Of First Pier Cap In ISBT-Sikandra Section of Line 1

On 1st December, the Agra metro project reached another milestone as the placement work of the first pier cap was done in the ISBT-Sikandra section of Corridor 1, implemented by Ceigall India under package AGCC-05 with the guidance of UPMRC.

Scope of work of package AGCC-05:
Under this contract, Ceigall India is responsible for design and construction work that consists of an elevated section which is 3.725 km long that will connect to the RBS Ramp in Khandari and Sikandra. Additionally, Ceigall will construct 3 elevated stations at ISBT, Guru Ka Taal & Sikandra.

Good News ! Finally work started on Agra Metro Corridor -1 ISBT to Sikandara section, after UPMRC received the NOC from NHAI department. Soon we will see barricading and diversions in this section.

अच्छी खबर ! यूपीएमआरसी को एनएचएआई विभाग से एनओसी मिलने के बाद आखिरकार आगरा मेट्रो कॉरिडोर-1 आईएसबीटी से सिकंदरा सेक्शन पर काम शुरू हो गया। जल्द ही हम इस सेक्शन में बैरिकेडिंग और डायवर्जन देखेंगे।
