Most Entrepreneurs and Professionals on YouTube and other Social Media Platforms, are forced to use social media as writers and bloggers, and not as Entrepreneurs and whichever other Professionals that they actually are.

But they are not writers or bloggers or content creators.
Rather, they are Entrepreneurs, Founders and Professionals, who happen to also write and create content.

But I know that the architects of these social media platforms would rather have the vast majority of its users be writers and content creators, in order to keep the relevancy of their platforms, highly significant.
But we shouldn’t allow that to be the order of the day.

Social Media is someone’s (or a group of people’s) business. And we are being used for FREE, to build their businesses. While they in turn, treat us like the wretched of the earth, at will.

1. You bought your smart devices, with your own money.
2. You pay for the energy bill you charge your devices with, with your own money.
3. You pay for the Internet, with your own money.
4. You subscribe to premium packages on Social Media, with your own money
5. You use your energy and intelligence resources, to create the content.
6. You deploy your social and networking intelligence, to connect with other users.
7. You have been on your Entrepreneurial or Career Path for many years.

Yet, they treat you like a 2nd fiddle user.
Like they’re the ones doing you a favor.

I am a Family Office Architect, A Consulting Firm Owner, and an Investment Advisor.
And I want that to be enough for the algorithm to push out. Not compelling me to downsize myself into a content creator.

Hence, if I decide that I only want to post once a week, it should be enough, because I’m not a Content Creator who needs to post daily.
I’m a Family Office Architect, who happens to post weekly.
And that should be enough, because I have my actual job or business to appropriately invest my daily prime resources on.

Otherwise, the algorithm is unintelligent. Which would mean that we need to come up with better algorithms.

I have met dozens of company owners who behave as if it is not their job to build their company, simply because they have now hired 14, or 32, or 50 members of staff.

They behave as if after hiring people to come work for them in their company, then it is now 100% the combined job of the entire staff (excluding them) to build the company into the company of their dreams. As if the salaries they pay them, is for the exclusive purpose of building their company for them.

Of course, in a way, they are right.
But not the way I have seen certain Company Owners act it out.

They behave as if, “Now that I have hired you guys, it’s now 100% your responsibilities to build this company. And all I would be doing, going forward, is to sit back and watch you all build.”

But that’s not how it works!

You hired them to come build with you, not to build in isolation of you.

You hired them to become your co-builders. Meaning that they are to build alongside you.

Hence, if you’re not committed to operating at the epicenter of the building of your own company (physically, mentally & psychologically) till the day you retire at least, then it won’t matter how many people you hire, or how much you pay them, nothing will get built!

Mad Money Sickness

We’ve all seen it. Maybe even done it.

You land a big bonus, close a huge deal, or get that long-awaited raise. And within weeks -- sometimes just days -- the money has evaporated.

New car.
Designer watch.
Upgraded dinners.
Expensive hobbies.

Then comes the panic.
The stress.
The quiet realization that you’re still living paycheck to paycheck… just with nicer things.

I call this Mad Money Sickness.

It’s never about how much you earn.
But about the frantic, emotional relationship you have with money.

Symptoms include:

🚩 Spending to celebrate (before saving a dime)
🚩 Upgrading your lifestyle immediately after a raise or a huge deal
🚩 Using retail therapy to cope with work burnout
🚩 Feeling anxious, checking your balance despite a high salary

The cure isn't earning more. It’s a pause.

· One rule: 48 hours before any non-essential purchase over #100k.

· One question: “Am I buying this, or is my emotion buying it?”

· One shift: Pay your future self first -- before the celebration dinner.

You’re no different from a robot, if you lose your imagination.

And without your imagination, you’re really not attractive to the people whose input in your life, could shift and accelerate the trajectory of your life, exponentially ----- far beyond your wildest dreams.

Social Media (or any Digital Technology/Tool in this world 🌍🌎) ought to be a tool you use to proactively enhance the evolutionary experience and results of your life, relationships, career and business. And not a tool for mindlessly piling up vanity metrics and chasing clouts.

Whether you have less than 100 followers or 100 million followers, doesn’t matter much to me. What matters to me is that technology has facilitated our paths to cross. Hence, you and I ought to take advantage of that, to get to know EACH OTHER on a personal level, in order to find out if we align around any values, or compliment each other on anything. That we might be able to know if we are meant to do anything worthwhile together or not.

This has been the simple principle I have used to wield Social Media, for instance, as a powerful instrument for connecting with hundreds of high value individuals, families, organizations and communities, in the last 17 years.

And regardless of the policy changes of these digital tools, I will never allow it to undermine my use of this self-engineered principle.

Because, for a fact, it has helped me minimize the noise. And helped me connect with high value entities, quite faster, per time.
