I have now received the full refund. As of today (March 13, 2026), the money has been credited back to my account. The order was not fulfilled because the product was actually out of stock.
This whole situation has definitely changed my perspective about the website. However, to be fair, I want to clearly say this: DesignInfo is **100% legit**. Based on my experience, the real problem with them is "customer service and communication".
Here are a few things I observed during this process:
1. DesignInfo seems to act as a mediator between multiple sellers/resellers and customers. When you place an order, it appears that those sellers are the ones fulfilling it. This might also mean their own warehouse stock is limited.
2. If you place an order and receive tracking details within 1–2 days, you are probably in the safe zone. But if tracking is delayed, that’s when the long chain of calls and messages with customer support usually begins.
3. The biggest weakness of the platform is definitely customer support. For a growing e-commerce website, support needs to be much more responsive and transparent. At some point every customer needs help, and unclear communication or incorrect information can really hurt the overall experience.
So if you ask me today — yes, I still believe the website itself is legitimate.
And will I order from them again in the future?
Honestly… yes, I probably will. Despite this experience, the deals they offer are sometimes incredibly good, often even better than some major e-commerce platforms.
That said, this experience did test my patience quite a bit, so it may take a little time before I place another order.
Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences in the comments. It really helped me look at the situation more objectively.

A quick update regarding my ***DesignInfo*** video.
When I originally made that video, it was based on my genuine experience at that time. My first two orders from the website were actually smooth, and because of that I felt comfortable sharing that experience with you all.
However, after the video started reaching more people, many viewers began sharing their own experiences in the comments. Some of those comments mentioned problems related to delivery updates and customer support.
Seeing those comments made me curious, so I decided to test the service again myself.
Recently I placed another order during the Holi sale for a Godox LP1200 RGB light worth over ₹16,000 and even selected BlueDart Air shipping so the product could reach me quickly.
But this time my experience has been quite different.
Although the order status shows “shipped”, I haven’t received any tracking details yet. I tried contacting customer support through WhatsApp and phone calls, but getting a clear response has been difficult.
Because of this situation, I started having second thoughts about recommending the website without further testing.
I want to clarify something very important.
When I made the first video, I genuinely believed the service was reliable based on my personal experience. I never intend to mislead anyone, and your trust is extremely important to me.
That’s exactly why I decided to test the service again and share an honest update.
I have now uploaded a follow-up video explaining everything that has happened with this new order so far.
I will continue updating the situation in the pinned comments as things progress.
And if anyone here has also ordered from DesignInfo, please share your experience in the comments. It will help everyone in the community make better decisions.
Thank you all for the feedback and for keeping the discussion honest.

The problems range from missing apps to constant crashes to being locked out of internal storage entirely on one of their device’s user accounts.
Multiple users also revealed that they aren’t able to take on-device screenshots of the phone reports because it has no available storage to save them. Several users also complained that the experience felt like being infected with ransomware.

I was literally about to buy this lens at a higher price…
Then I checked one thing… and saved ₹5000.
Most of us don’t track prices properly… and end up overpaying.
Just dropped a video on how I found this 👀

Sometimes a phone isn’t special because it’s powerful, it’s special because it’s CLEVER
That’s the vibe I’m getting from POCO M8 so far. Let’s see if it actually lives up to it. Unboxing coming soon.
