Romans 3:27-28 "Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law."
Are these verses being interpreted in their proper context? What was Paul actually communicating? We'll walk through the passage verse by verse, engage the arguments being made, and seek to let the text speak for itself.
Whether you agree with us or not, you're invited to join the discussion, ask questions in the live chat, and follow along with your Bible open.
๐ Sunday โฐ 8:00 PM CST ๐ LIVE on The Apologetic Dog
Can someone who truly belongs to Christ ever be deceived into following the voice of a stranger?
That was the question I asked in this debateโand it led to one of the most revealing moments of the entire discussion.
In this short clip, I press a simple question from John 10 that I believe exposes a major problem for the view that a true believer can lose their salvation. The discussion centers on Jesus' words:
"My sheep hear My voice... and a stranger they will not follow."
Is that an absolute promise from the Good Shepherd... or can His sheep ultimately follow the voice of Satan after all? The clip argues that this question remains unanswered by the opposing position.
๐ฅ Watch the short and let me know:
Does John 10 teach that Christ's sheep can ultimately follow the voice of a stranger, or does it guarantee the Shepherd's unfailing preservation of His people?
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments after you've watched the video. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe if you enjoy thoughtful, Scripture-centered discussions on theology and apologetics! ๐๐
This is one of the most important theological questions Christians can wrestle withโand tomorrow night, you'll hear a respectful, Scripture-filled debate between two pastors who hold very different convictions.
๐ Jeremiah Nortier (Reformed Baptist) vs. ๐ Jared K Henry (Church of the Nazarene)
Moderated by Chris Arnzen
Together, they tackle questions like:
๐ Can someone who is truly born again fall away? ๐ What do Hebrews 6 and Hebrews 10 really teach? ๐ Does John 10 guarantee eternal security? ๐ How should we understand the warning passages? ๐ What is the biblical doctrine of the perseverance of the saints?
Whether you're Reformed, Arminian, Baptist, Nazarene, or still searching for answers, this debate will challenge you to think carefully about what the Bible actually says.
